My 2007 civic si has been making a weird grinding noise upon take off while driving. I decided to dive in and start wrenching to find that my rear, inner brake pad was completely toast! Time to upgrade to hawk street pads and new rotors. I needed to upgrade anyways for when I swap my jdm k24a engine in because of the added power and torque. It was perfect timing. Enjoy everyone.
