Yea always wet it down they use absetous in it and it is really bad to breath OSHA makes shops do it now
Fuck this I’m just leaving them in there I’ll just replace the front disk breaks lol
Use the right tools for the right job it will make it easier.
You are using a cutter you should use pliers for that.
carpet in garage??dafuq???
i only liked the video because he asked nicely.
brake pads are made to withstand high heat & be durable why when in lungs ur human body can not brake it down unlike iron dust that can rust & be dissolved by body..
don’t breath brake DUST!!!!!!!!! that shit will fuckin KILL YOU!! cause the fibers the pads are made are meant to withstand extreme heat & why u had that dry chalk feel on ur hands is cause the fibers are like tiny hooked fibers once there in ur lungs they will NEVER GET out just lungs will scare around & grow over …
jajaja fixbook?
U dont know the names of most of the pieces.
Use nose pliers. Wire cutters will watch this video and will cut the the spring accidentally. Other than that you did a great video.
Ugh get off of that floor jack! If you’re too poor (or just hate) jack stands, just cut some good hardwood firewood chunks (idiots call them “logs”). I have them in pairs in 2 inch increments from about 12 to 20 inches long and at least 12 inches in diameter, they will last 10 years and then you can still use them for firewood.
Great and helpful video. All your videos are such a great help. they are easy and straight to the point. Thanks.
Good video. Used it as a reference two times. Btw its the first time i see carpet in a garage haha
Not a replacement just a removal vid. Change the title. Good how to but not what I was looking for
Jordan’s helper: Your welcome, I am pretty sure he has 4-5 videos up on the front and back breaks, that should show how to put the new ones on and putting it back together if that helps any. Thanks for commenting
I have a 98 Honda that needs changing, never changed my rears before let alone fronts always had someone do it and I watched to learn. Im gonna attempt to do it myself with the supervision. but this video made it looks easy enough just a lot of parts. wish it showed putting on the new ones and putting it all back together but I got the point. thanks great video the quality definitely helped
Probably
lol yeah, and thanks for commenting.
Good job on the video. Man, I tell you what, those drum brakes have a LOT of parts. Over engineering at it’s finest. Makes the job look like a pain in the butt.
No problem, thanks for commenting.
Good stuff. Thanks for the video, drum brake shoes are always such a pain in the ass.
Is this the same for a 2006 civic lx ?
Dude, invest in pliers
I’m not sure. Does it have drum brakes? If it does, it’s probably similar.
is this the same for a 06 civic lx ?
I think so. The Si’s may have come with rear disc brakes, that’s a shot in the dark though.
Did the 98-00 civics only come with rear drum brakes?
I’m glad I could help.
Once again! Thanks I needed this. 🙂
Thanks
Very good.
No problem
Thanks a lot for everything!!
I ll watch your video
Keep up the good work!
Well, I’m sure you know this by now, but you probablly just needed to pump the gas pedal a few times, then it may have stiffened up a little bit, but you may also need to bleed your brakes. If you don’t know how to do that you can watch the video I have which shows you how to bleed brakes.
Please help!!!
The cylinder come out and i lost some brake fluids.I finish the job but What i have to do now because my brake pental goes down all the way…
Your welcome, and lots of people say that, but you’ll never hear of anyone cutting through a drum brake spring.
You are braver than me to use dikes to grab a spring. I like to use needle-nose pliers so as not to make a cut mark on the spring. I like the quality of your video and the step-by-step process though. Thanks.
Good men :)
Really good video. Thanks a lot!
Y don’t yu do the disc brake conversion bro?
I really like your videos..you’d probably get more views if you made a catchy intro with music and a nice logo.
