Fuck breakaway bolts
I can’t believe that the most IMPORTANT procedure was left out of this
video and that was the tps calibration with a volt meter. You calibrate it
with a volt meter by setting the meter to >dc volts 20# range usually works
best and then you move your tps back or forward till it reads .48 – .49
with the key on (not running) and the you check it by opening the throtle
all the way and it should read 4.50 volts, and if you are getting those
numbers then you are good to go then tighten the bolts down and double
check if the numbers moved, if they did then just loosen them up and
re-calibrate till the desired settings and tight bolts up and start the car
and make sure your check engine light is off and double check your work
again and if everything is ok then your good to go, best of luck.
I have the same but my gasket is ripped where the. screw goes in at the
bottom could that be a problem to make my idle fluctuate??
Great video!
The most important part was not covered how do you put the tps on the
throttle body, do you put the middle guide of the tps inbetween the two
clamp looking things on the throttle body..
