rsanch8695 says:

Mr. Brian, Would a 92 Hon acc WPump change be this extensive?

Manuel Briseño says:

Hi @briansmobile1, sorry for my english. What’s the name of the part showed
at 4:45 ??? and what’s it’s function. Thanks

briansmobile1 says:

Watch the high detail video that I did. It’s the same title, but says “high
detail”

Jamie Christine says:

first time doing this on a 97 any tips?

briansmobile1 says:

Remove the belt.

aaronac8 says:

What coolant do you use when working on a honda? Does it have to be honda
coolant?

briansmobile1 says:

@aussieker1 2-3 hours depending if I’m feeling my oats or not.

nnospoh says:

@Darkmand8 I’m not sure I fully understand your question. For the special
tool designed for honda crank pulleys you use a 1/2″ breaker bar to hold it
in place, and a deep socket and ratchet to reach and remove the crank bolt.

briansmobile1 says:

poor lighting is the main reason. Thanks for asking. I did make a newer
better video of the same job. It’s longer, clearer, and has better lighting.

briansmobile1 says:

lol Amen to that. I don’t see why/how people get all rude like that. Is he
trying to get blocked? I didn’t feel like making the vid and did it anyway
for whatever benefit it could give. He’s Vietnamese. It may be a culture
thing. I’ve seen that in others too. (quick to be offensive and failing
diplomacy).

stonent says:

If steelron06 wants a better video, he can feel free to pay EricTheCarGuy
$10 for the full long step by step video

tony hurley says:

thanks man i love watching your videos its great to learn how to do thing
yourself

eallend says:

Better yet why do you have a honda playlist? And why are you searching for
videos to help yourself when you have no respect for the people trying to
help? The man helps thousands of people probably. Maybe you should try to
do the same.

briansmobile1 says:

@lakid714 Yours is quite a bit different. I would be sure to get a diagram.
The principles are the same, but the layout/procedure is a bit different.
(I used to own/drive one just like yours)

Thanks Alot , Ill Letchu Kno How It Goes .. By The Way , Where Are You

armlock311 says:

I love EFY albums.

briansmobile1 says:

What do you expect to have happen from this comment? I could become
offended and block you…. would that help your situation?

wangbungal says:

any tips on doing a conversion from 4 lugs to 5 lugs?

john lopez says:

with negative comments……..thanks brian !!! God bless

nightmathzombieethan says:

I do the the whole “Nuts and bolts reversed” thing too!

philztheone says:

Brian! Obviously you don’t know me but after watching several of your
videos you seem more like a friend to me. You do a great job on your
videos. Excellent camera work, diction and excellent explanations. I also
love the use of the laser pointer. Thank you. With the help of you videos I
just successfully completed a timing belt and water pump change in my ’93
Del Sol. Wish I could buy you a beer or a coffee. Keep up the good
work!–Phil

briansmobile1 says:

I use them for inspiration at times. ; )

Susan Turnbull says:

after we changed the timing belt and adjusted the harmonic balancer on my
93 Accord we cannot see the timing marks through the window? Any advice on
how to find them?

briansmobile1 says:

Not always…. unless it’s a Dodge Neon.

Stoneyburke says:

too much trouble for me ,I`ll let it leak oil till it blows. Oil pressure
starts at 80 then drops to 20 when warm(at idle) rises when driving at
speed.but leaks from main cover. Which means tearing all that off you just
did,and more (225K plus miles). I can`t crawl around under it like I did
when I was younger.

inertia74 says:

It was hard to focus on what you were saying because of the shitty Bette
Midler tunes in the background. No wonder you weren’t feeling good.

simpsonlordguy says:

maybe it isn’t yours, true. It is however false that you listen to
everything. Nobody listens to everything.

IronWall says:

@inertia74 LMAO DAWG! Bette Midler is the SHIT! WIND BENEATH MY WIIIIIINGS!

briansmobile1 says:

Glad you figured it out! I call this kind of struggle “paying tuition”
because it’s expensive in terms of time and emotion, but it pays in the
long run for the lessons learned.

Darkmand8 says:

did you put a block of wood under the gas pan to support the motor mount?
can you help me?

RyenDeckard says:

I’m doing this right now, and as a novice (I’ve only done an alternator
replacement in a 95 nissan accord, and replaced one of the radiator fan
motors in the same car) this is pretty difficult, but your video is
explaining each step pretty well. I just wish I watched it before I
started, since my friend and I are stuck at the harmonic balancer right
now. We don’t have an impact wrench or the money to buy one.

hondaslave says:

Respond to this video… so it goes under the mount right,,,not facing the
drivers fender?,,,,,thanks brian

Rich Koldenhoven says:

Brian – I did this job and completed it but I have an issue with the car.
Engine rattles when in drive or reverse and foot on brake. Do you think the
harmonic balancer off a tooth might be the problem – or an engine mount? It
drives fine – it idles fine. I used a thin screwdriver when locking the
balancer in place instead of the right tool that screws in. Help –
appreciate it.

k crofoot says:

Brian, still enjoying the vids. Question on a slightly related topic. I am
trying to replace the oil pump shaft seal. Took the original out but the
one from Honda and Federal both seem to bit about a 32nd of an inch too big
in diameter and I cant get it into the housing. any tricks?

fullthrottle17 says:

Hi Brian love your vids! I have a question about TDC. I am changing the
waterpump timingbelt on my 93 legend. I messed up on one step 🙁 I did not
line up the TDC marks before I removed the crankshaft bolt or the old
timing belt. I found out after I was suppose to do that before. Now my TDC
marks on the two upper cams dont line up at the same time. If one does the
other is not on it mark and vise versa. Am I suppose to line up one and
move/force the other cam by hand? to line it up. ?? Thanks!!!

briansmobile1 says:

Agreed. I was sick. Ericthecarguy D@t C@m has a clean/clear video of this
you can buy for like ten bucks.

hp11208 says:

is this the same for a 1998
