Cool find. Yeah, that oil just ain’t right. It looks like a stand-weight
gear oil… W140 maybe? My other guess would be they thought it was
running rough and just decided to put that “leak fix” oil additive gunk
people buy at Walmart. There’s all kinds of thick crap like that for “old
engines” at auto-parts stores too.

My guess is a carb cleaning, and maybe clean out the muffler (I think
little Honda engines like that have a spark depressor that can gunk up),
and hit that rusted muffler heat shield with some high-temp paint… it’ll
run for years 🙂

CUDDLES52 says:

that other honda engine can be used on anything there is a set screw
holding on that what looks like a gear in the end of the crankshaft. just
remove or loosten the set screw and use a puller to pull that gear looking
thing off. then it can be used on what ever.

$26 you got to love rich lazy people.wow gas line.so funny.i bet 1 of those
guys that worked at that construction company savataged it thinking he

I just removed the head on my GC160, not too difficult. Had a bit of
trouble because a valve stem broke and the loose valve in the combustion
chamber was keeping the piston from reaching TDC. Had to hold it upside
down and shake until the valve found a better place and I could move the
piston and get the crankshaft out. Problem is said valve stem punched a
hole in the head, and it’s an expensive part…

LynolsOffice says:
