hi, why don’t you remove the bumper and headlight? i think thats much easier to install the hid.

panooseVideo says:

disconnecting the battery is just to make sure you don’t blow a fuse or electrocute yourself neither should happen but its better to be safe than sorry

SuperKobe243 says:

I did this install step by step and now my audio doesn’t work for my navi no cd or radio just map and voice…

r18a1USDM says:

wow i learned some new stuff. i think this is easier than removing the whole bumper.

deleona7x says:

Will this kit work on my vehicle i have a 2009 honda civic ex coupe. I just dont want to order and have it not work. Thanks !

XenonSupply says:

The option to disconnect your battery is more of a precautionary measure than a requirement. Have fun!

XenonSupply says:

The Passenger side can be done in the exact same manner with access through the wheel well. Some users will go through the top and remove the battery as well. Just a manner of preference and access.

If you have additional questions email or call us at Help(at)XenonSupply(dot)com or toll free at 1-800-840-3240

We are always working on new videos and would actually like to get a 2010 Mixima into the shop for a video if we could. Video production is dependent on the customers in our area (Los Angeles CA) and if they decide to volunteer their vehicle. If you know anyone around the area who would like a discounted install in exchange for their time, let us know!

Posting to your respective car forum for volunteers interested in the LA area might help get you one faster as well,

ABCtilly says:

Hi, thanks for the instructional video, but why does one side have a sort of bluish tint, as opposed to the pure white on the left side? I have 6000k

XenonSupply says:

The Honda fit more than likely uses a Bi-Xenon Kit (h4-3) and is not installed the same way the 2006+ Honda Civic is installed. We currently at this time do not have access to a Honda Fit to perform a video installation on but once we do, we will get it online. Subscribe to the channel for the latest videos we release each week.

XenonSupply says:

It is a similar process however the bulb type you listed is incorrect. Id recommend sending an email to Help(at)XenonSupply(dot)com for more accurate information and include your vehicle year make and model for reference.

if i want to put hid in place of higher bulbs (6005)…then what should be the right way to do that…is that the same !!

shadowzx1 says:

hi i have a honda fit 2009 and the headlights are halogen H4 i want to install the xenon headlights on my car and i bought a xenonlights 10000k 55w

please tell me how to install it on the my car and thanks by a video please thanks

XenonSupply says:

That is correct, the 2006 Honda Civic uses a 9006 bulb for the low beam and a 9005 for the high beam. They are separate systems that each require their own kit. The video shows the low beam installation of a 9006 HID kit. If you have additional questions please email us or call us for the best support. 1-800-840-3240 or Help(at)XenonSupply(dot)com

XenonSupply says:

Depending on your year model you will need to reenter the audio security code once the battery terminal has been removed and reconnected. The code should be in your service manual, or tied to your VIN.

achan925 says:

When you take off the positive end terminal, will that affect the radio, as in will you need to enter your radio code??
