This video demonstrates me replacing the front passenger armrest on my 2009 Honda Accord sedan (EX-L).
My car will be 9 years old this September, so its seen some… times, lol. This was a small project I’ve been planning on doing a lot sooner, but was well worth the wait. I already did the driver’s door but figured I should record a video of doing the front passenger door.
If you’re wondering, yes the new armrests come pre-assembled and snap into place of the old ones. They ship from the US. I ordered on Monday, they came in on Thursday.

Thanks man. I followed this video and results were great. I actually skipped removing the whole panel though. Once I popped the panel I was able to get to all the screws. I had to use a short screwdriver though….and I have a coupe so I'm not sure if that makes a difference…..as a side note, prior to attempting this I called to get a quote on someone doing it for me (just the install: $225. If it wasn't for videos like this I'd be a lot poorer, cuz I definitely wouldn't just wing it.
My armrest looks horrible now. I think I am going to get a replacement.
Thank you!! I just ordered the arm rests.
How did you get the pad off of the armrest?
Hey nice video! Thank you so much. But my door light also stopped working how did you fix it ?
Thanks. I have to do my armrests and the leather on the door panel
Nice video, very helpful
Thanks, great video. Where did you buy the replacement arm rest? I need a driver side to replace..
