Jon, I installed mine today. I could not get my valve cover to snug all the
way down to flush with the top of the head. I can still see gasket all
around, I’ve done these before, but on older domestics with a cork gasket,
they sit near flush. Is it normal for theses butyl rubber gaskets to let
the valve cover sit a 1/8 of an inch up from the top of the head? Thanks
What kind of approved rtv sealant you use?
