4th Generation Honda Accord Side Mirror Repair DIY

4th Generation Honda Accord Side Mirror Repair DIY:
This model of Honda Accord is of 1990’s make

Side mirror not adjustable from the switches inside the car, but motors were definitely working as the mechanical sound could still be heard. Not sure where the parts could be found, but used working parts from the other side mirror since it’s on the driver side and could easily be manually adjusted.

recorded using Nikon Coolpix S3300 and Elecam Explorer Pro, and part of the audio recorded using Elephone P9000.

It looks like the mirror is held on by the ball joints but if they were broken off what was holding the mirror to the actuator?

So, can i take apart the Accord 5th gen mirror using the same technique? I dont want to take down the whole sideview mirror. My problem is that tha whole thing is loose, not the mirror but the housing.
