Got a 2016 civic and im going to try to do it with the same method you use …thanks again for explaining it and I'll be glad if it works for me also .

@davidavazquezrodriguez8576 says:

Hi, great video, I just did my brake pads and the light came out, how can I try to do fix it, since i already change the pads and use the car for some hours. ?

@chris21daniel says:

I did this but forgot to calibrate the brakes like you said at the end & I have the “brake system” light on whenever I turn the car on. How could I fix that?

@cdhoang602 says:

many thanks.

@wutokay says:

Do we have to undo top cap of brake fluid first?

@jijiemem8168 says:

Thanks man did this and I did not have any problem at all . Just do the last step he showed once you’re done with a tire before starting on another one. Thats what I did and didnt have any issues at or prolly just got lucky

@19bboyricky says:

How to erase brake problem light

@ivanzaragoza3591 says:

Just disconnect the god damn connectors, you don’t have to do all that

@xaverbishop6506 says:

I ordered the torx and hex bits and sockets to execute manual method. F a $500 scanner although it is more convenient.

@joshuaorbito says:

If I'm changing all 4 rotors at once, is it ok that parking brake is off when changing the front pads?

@travisswanson1752 says:

So I’m getting a bunch of stuff popping up on my dash now and it’s saying my right rear actuator is open code C1111-13 do you know how I could fix this please

@raymondaguirre5825 says:

Thanks for your video it really helped out.

@andy_byrd says:

Thanks a ton for this guide, worked for my 2020 Civic Si, of course did the calibration afterwards for the parking brake.

@SeaRay320DA says:

This worked perfectly! The only thing i'd add is to tell everyone to make sure the parking brake is OFF before starting any of this. Thanks for the awesome video!

@jasonshute9557 says:

Great video. Clear, concise, and to the point. Great explanations. Best video I've seen yet. Feel like I'm better prepared to tackle this job.

@leelemon3373 says:

Spot On Jonny! I have a 2016 with No electric parking brake, I just wanted to see the difference.
very complete. I liked and subd.

@irvbuchan441 says:

2018 Civic, requires the car to be started. The parking brake operates initially but you can't do the calibration until the engine is started. UK Model.

@ThinkRussell1125 says:

Just paid $716 for this I’m so mad

@joancosta1487 says:

Nice video! Thanks for it. Just one important question from my side. I heard doing that the EPB engine loses its zero position. Is it true? Do we need to calibrate after that with an scanner tool? Thanks!!

@kehres83 says:

So…I didn't watch this video first and now I have lights on my dash that I can't get rid of. Do you know what I need to do?

@ChristianErwin01 says:

I have a civic and I’ve been manually turning the e brake for 10 minutes now. That normal?

@marzellgg says:

About to change my brake pads and rotors for the first time since owning my Civic.

Thanks for the vid! Relieves my concern about messing with the EPB.

@mrdavester says:

If you don't have the female torx for the retract you can cheat with an 11/32 socket.

@dontriskett8098 says:

Thanks bro! Great video and super helpful!

@KevinBrown-em3ng says:

So did u take the cap off the brake fluid reservoir before this repair ?
