Just a quick video showing how I changed out these low beam headlight bulbs on my 2007 Honda Accord from under the hood without removing the battery. You can still remove the battery if you’d like to have a little more room, but you will lose your radio pre-sets.
You can also get to the headlight bulbs from underneath by removing the inner fender liner clips and 10mm bolt at the bottom and pull and bend it down. If you do the underneath method, you will probably need to replace the plastic clips that hold the fender liner in place. The passenger side low beam headlight bulb is easy to get to from under the hood. On the driver’s side, I just removed the battery hold down clamp and ‘J’ Hooks and took out the plastic intake shield and short piece of intake tube and was able to slide the battery and it’s plastic tray back enough to get to the bulb. The white connectors are for the low beam headlight bulbs and they are on the outside. The blue colored connectors are for your high beam bulbs.
I replaced the halogen bulbs with upgraded LED Headlight bulbs from Auxito. I have used their products in the past and been happy with them. The light is so much brighter and I feel like I can see a lot better without blinding other drivers becaues the cutoff is almost exactly the same as the stock halogen bulbs.
Here’s some info on the bulbs from their website:
9006 led light bulbs: Run on DC 12V-24V, 40W and 8,000lm per bulb, 6500k white, super focused and stable light output, 500% brighter than stock 9006 bulbs, compatible with 9006 and hb4 sockets
Same beam pattern like stock one: 0.079in ultra thin copper board for 360° illumination, helps you see wider and farther, no blinding to oncoming traffic, don’t dazzle other drivers
Mini sized lamp body: These non-polarity 9006 light bulbs are sized to fit your housing perfectly and can be plugged directly into your original factory sockets, no more modification on housing or cover
Can-bus ready design: Makes 9006 led bulbs compatible with 99%+ vehicles’ system, upgraded driver with built-in intelligent IC and temperature control ensures lamps working at the best status without error or radio interference
Longer lifespan: Whole aviation aluminum body and 12,000RPM cooling fan provide super cooling ability, which ensures a longer lasting up to 50,000 hours

Spot on Dan. I have an '07 Accord V6 Coupe and have changed its headlights twice over my 16 years of ownership. Not a hard job at all. Again, good job.

Clean and easy install

I have a 2007 Honda accord se sedan version. Those lights look great. Could you make a video on how to restore those heads with the yellow oxidation that is on it. Great video. Keep them coming. There are some other things I need to do on this accord to make it more road ready. It's legal and safe to drive, but adding some bluetooth without changing the factory radio and keeping steering wheel controls is a big and changing rear struts out would be nice.
