Great job

Douglas Skaalrud says:

Thanks for posting your video. I did the filter change just the way you
showed and it was really easy and quick. I paid a little over $19 for the
filters at NAPA. I replace my main air filter once a year and I’ll be
replacing this one at the same time from now on.

Jbads says:

Vavoline was gonna charge me $49.99 to replace these…was like f that.
Thanks for the video. Paid $19.99 for the filters and spent 1 minute
watching.

sangeelove says:

Thanks for this video. How do you change the main air filter in this car?

Terrell Parker says:

This isn’t a race

HMB benitez says:

Hi I have a question all honda brings the plastic packaging to put the
filter is that I have a honda civic lx 2003 and followed your video but I
made it very difficult to remove the filters and put them back because I
not had this plastic to you get to put your filter.

j leon says:

Thank you very much very helpful

Rafael Tavares says:

Hey man, i just wanna thank you!
I’ve managed to do it!!!
You are the man!
I had some doubts at first, i didn`t know if the Brazilian civic was the
same…. but in the end was exactly as your video!!!

Jsibrian19 says:

Is the same for a 2003???

Frank Smathers says:

THANKS FOR POSTING – HONDA WANTED $58 TO DO THIS.

Randy Leon says:

I can only imagine how black my air filters must be…

TGS says:

@gunigugu1991 Sorry, haven’t had to do that one myself in this car…yet.
I’m sure it’s easy, just look for something like “Change 2001 Civic battery
tutorial” on Yahoo or Google. Make sure that when you do disconnect the
battery, that you have the stock deck code or your radio won’t work anymore!

xcalix says:

@mumtazalam1969 Timing Belt… .Good luck on that one. Water pump is easy
as pie.

spooksgee says:

how often do they need to be replaced?

WhereyaooAT says:

where did u buy the filters

TGS says:

@FloridaRaider I don’t know if the 2000 does. Maybe someone with a Chilton
manual can look it up.

trampolinist2 says:

cant get my glove box off 🙁 i have a 2000 civic

Helen Colon says:

It’s me again, after watching your video once, I bought the cabin filter at
a local auto store, and was able to change them in less than 10 minutes. I
thank you for the bottom of my heart. Made me feel very empowered! 🙂

tincan77 says:

You saved me a TON of time on replacing these. I thought they’d be near the
engine!

thaik56 says:

I tried! If you don’t feel like buying two new filters for 15$ each, you
can wash them for the moment. I plan on buying new ones next time, since I
believe they aren’t meant to be washed over and over.

SuperOxideDimutase says:

god i miss my corolla, all i had top do was squeeze the sides and the
compartment would pop open.

mrlim1434 says:

man im deaf!!

TGS says:

@isurfu2ube It cleans the air that comes into the car through the vents. I
had my car a couple of years before I read a manual and found this out! If
you take your car to Jiffy Lube, they automatically empty your glove box
and pull it out to show you. I had them put a note on my account saying not
to check it.

Top Speed says:

Thanks 4 post.

gcbrign says:

Tank you! Very useful video.

TGS says:

Yeah, my guess is that maybe once would be ok, but after that you would be
better off getting new ones.

Kai Long says:

I appreciate this video but some oral or written directions regarding what
you are doing would be helpful.

swkccr says:

this is great…was just at Jiffy Lube, and wanted to charge me $50 each to
do this.

videoluvr4204 says:

thank you for this helpful video

donperry1 says:

Just remember to check the airflow direction like he did in the video

ajexander fatima says:

thanks man

gunigugu1991 says:

@tagisatube one more thing, do you know how to change the battery?

Black Absinthe says:

Fantastic vid, thanks.

optikalillusion777 says:

Great video, no bullshit, no talking, replace cabin air filter. case closed.

ElLeonidas2009 says:

is this the same for a 2000 model?

Trageisabeast says:

on the newer model civic, 2009 mine is, you just push in on the sides of
the glove compartment and it pops right on out

slateiq says:

thanks for the video and for not talking in it. LOL

AXHEJAZ says:

awesome thank you! because i wasn’t getting ready to pay $80 to the dealer
ship

batman2895 says:

Nice video…no talking or bs,just strait to the point!!

vaipunk says:

thank you for a helpful vid

Samir Elchamaa says:

@isurfu2ube Clogged or dirty cabin air filters can significantly reduce
airflow from the cabin vents, as well as introduce allergens into the cabin
air stream

gunigugu1991 says:

@tagisatube cool thanks

Gux Lino says:

US$ 6 bucks on Ebay for 2 units.

Kyle W says:

Went to do this and mine didn’t have any or the black plastic holding tray.
I wrapped it with black electric tape and that will make it fit if you
don’t have the black plastic tray. Thanks for the video

kenshizzle16 says:

thanks for the video, saved me $20 bucks

seancanmore says:

wow thanks! i just realized where the 2nd filter is!

mrwireful10000 says:

@asifineededaname at the very least you could be inhaling the stuff that
the filter filters out, to me that is enough to change it

gunigugu1991 says:

where can you buy new filters?

isurfu2ube says:

never knew this S….t, what the hell is Cabin filter? what kind of job
