pete parson says:

how do i get the 1990-2002 Honda Accord Timing Belt Replacement Video –
can you help me thank you EricTheCarGuy

John Manning says:

The videos are not expensive, and they are easily the best and most
comprehensive out there. The man deserves to be paid for his time and
expertise. Hopefully, he will keep making them. They have helped a lot of
people save a lot of money.

TheDaveyht3 says:

YOUR A FUCKING DICK HERE IS AN UNSUBSCRIBE FOR YOU”RE GREEDY ASS!!!

TheDaveyht3 says:

HEY briansmobile has a vid for free check him out!!! No gay Elvis swinging
his dick in the background!!!

charleysturbos says:

Yea should be free like the other guys video on here showed you everything.
Bad Eric bad. Youtube is for helping and free. Mechanic shops and dealers
are for mechanics ripping people off. Like mixing drugs and prescription
drugs with vitamins,not right.

Geo says:

Fuck You Erick!!! Trying to sell your shit!!! DOUCHE!!!!

Jay Walker says:

Nice spam, jackass

john smith says:

Bought this video tutorial a week or two ago and changed out the belt and
water pump with the help of this video. Thank Eric!

fili tamayo says:

do you have any videos on changing an oil pump on 1996 Honda accord

jodyjoe757 says:

Its hard to find the video on the site. It’s a horrible site to try to
navigate.

cynicky says:

WTF is this

HeWhoTreadsWater says:

I’m prob. going to buy this vid. I don’t think it will be a hardship. Heck
a good 6 pack costs nearly as much. I looked around at a few freebies, but
they all seem to suffer from quality issues. Poor sound, poor light,
jumping around from step to step, jerky camera, and worst of all when they
get to the nitty gritty of putting the belts on and making them tight it is
always hard to see exactly what they are doing. I have done some work on my
car, and Its always a learning experience. I don’t want to go into this
without very clear knowledge. It will be worth it to me to buy the video if
it is clear clear clear. Are we clear?

Ash Qelon says:

Ericthecarguy, I am nearing to point of needing a WP/Belt on a 1991 2. 2
accord. I see on amazon a “kit” with everything in it of parts. Are you
familiar with this type of internet kit where you know its probably ok or
should I just go to a local autozone of knechts part store? Your Opinion
and experience I await. Thx.

EricTheCarGuy says:

@RAJSTA81 It’s not actually but if you wait a couple of weeks I’ll be
posting a free video on a Civic timing belt replacement. Granted it’s not a
step by step like this video but it will give you a general idea. I have
shot a step by step video for a Civic belt but it will probably be some
time before that one is made available. Thanks for your comment and good
luck.

n8ture2 says:

its getting noisy just like broken water pump, so its the oil pump have u
replaced 1 of these before.

Eric Grove says:

I recently purchased a 2001 Honda Accord LX with 98k on the odometer. I had
the timing belt replaced before I purchased the car. I would like to check
that it was changed so where is the timing belt located on the engine? I
have a receipt for the work done.

EricTheCarGuy says:

@maer06 Sorry but I can’t speak for the pricing in your area but I would do
what I could to verify that diagnosis before committing to it. There is
also the possibility that the valves were damaged when it broke IF it
broke, if this is the case you will not know until you put it back together
and try to start it. Good luck.

EricTheCarGuy says:

@jdmsrv93 The keyway goes into the sprocket for the timing gear behind the
cover as well as the crank pulley and keeps both lined up on the
crankshaft. You may have to remove the timing belt covers and loosen the
belt to install the keyway as it may have moved when it broke. Good luck.

Justin Wright says:

don’t forget that he is better than scotty kilmer…

Bushougoma says:

@exceptionalchris If you look at the gear ratio between the crank and
camshaft the crank pulley is smaller than the cam pulley by 50%. The
camshaft rotates at half the speed of the crank so by that ratio it takes
TWO full rotations of the crankshaft to fully rotate the cam pulley once.
So each full rotation of the crank is a half rotation of the cam. Line up
the white timing mark if the cam pulley is 180 degrees out rotate the crank
again to the white mark and the cam will be at TDC.

avalanche says:

dammit out of all the videos, this one i really need and ts not free. i
think i might just pay someone to do it. :/

Adam Alsnayyan says:

Eric, I would just like to point out how intelligent and talented you are.
It is also a great quality how dedicated and generous you are. I have a
situation. I’ve just replaced the timing belt on my ’95 Accord V6(C27A4)
and it runs, but I’m getting a Top Dead Center code. What is causing this?
Is it because the timing is a hair off? Will resetting everything back to
TDC and putting the timing belt on fix this? Does your Timing Belt video
explain how to find TDC? Thanks, Eric. You’s the man.

Halosapian says:

How different are they? We’ve got a donor civic here, if you want to come
to Michigan 🙂 Also, what car did you film this on?

EricTheCarGuy says:

@Smashtacular01 Actually no, for that you want the J series video. The
video really is bolt by bolt so if nothing else you will know exactly what
is involved.

EricTheCarGuy says:

@Calabrio76 Thank you very much for that awesome endorsement.

EricTheCarGuy says:

@ferdianto2011 Your most welcome, thanks for your comments.

Ryan McCaw says:

This sucks, cause i have a 1990 prelude si and this video does not give me
any confidence at all! How can you show different engines and think they
are all the same with the same issues. If I could video as I change my
altenator I would. I can’t find one decent video on this.

Ash Qelon says:

Thx for response. I loaded the video you made and am confident it will be
very helpful. It is a excellent idea you have for information. Very
creative and needed! One small thing I think may add to video (in dialog
box) is a list of items you recommed such as 1. Belt(s) 2. Seal(s) &
gaskets you typically replace. So we veiwers can reference this when we go
to part store to purchase them. Thanks again.

Ji Sean says:

Will Honda Prelude 89 with B20A be similar as this? thanks!

Shasta Sweetbottom says:

Hey Eric, I purchased your timing belt video, and wanted to say thanks very
much. Lots of great tips a book doesn’t teach you. On my 92 Accord engine,
there is a bolt behind the rear balance shaft to help set it’s timing…I
made a video of it and posted it as a video response. Thanks again for all
your great videos, and I hope someday you get your own show on Spike, or
Speed. My Best

badlockjaw1 says:

How do I go about finding this download to purchase? The problem I’m having
is that my new timing belt vibrates. At idle it isn’t too bad, but the more
I open it up, the worse it gets. When I really rev it up the belt will
shake really bad and then all of a sudden it jumps into smooth(normal)
operation. I’m about 10hr over on this project and am really frustrated.
Any suggestions?

spicoZilla says:

Eric the Ninja!! great videos. Will this also help with a 01 V6 accord?!

EricTheCarGuy says:

@Halosapian Not really but I’m working on a video for Civics that I hope to
have out in the next couple of months.
