@towrecker LOL, I kinda discovered that towards the end… Im used to the
old breaker bar and when that isnt enough a piece of pipe!:)
@Needmorehorsepower The throw-out bearing and pilot bearing were squealing
bad and the clutch was starting to slip….. but I can tell you I was able
to press on some of the pressure plate fingers by hand. Also I did notice
the slave cylinder/throwout assembly was starting to leak fluid when I took
the trans out. Its got about 100,000 miles on it, lots of towing miles but
the trans seems ok.

truck. It was fun getting it back out, lol!
@More350Power me too , to dang lazy to get the air hose out , a 6 foot pipe
will break it loose or break it one 🙂

people standing around when I was under there filming. but then again I
dont know….. thanks!!
@towrecker Snap On makes some nice rechargable impact guns. They are about
$500 dollars, but even nicer to use than pneumatic.

@Needmorehorsepower as cheap as they are might as well change the clutch
when everything is apart. I gotta few more vids coming. The engine has some
issues and I suspect the intake manifold. Thanks for watching, appreciate
it!
nice work,but the clutch didnt look that bad was the trans bad?

The hard part I had was taking out the tranny. My god she was ugly.
Now you should throw a high performance in it! 🙂 Great job man….Love the

@Needmorehorsepower Its a 4.3 Vortec. Im going to be posting a video of it
running. I checked the single vacuum line it had and all I found was the
antifreeze around the gooseneck running down the front of the engine. Ill
try and get the engine running vid up tonight. Thanks man! PS, im glad this
isnt my truck…… the lines are all rotten and stuff……. I want one
with a 350 in it anyway 🙂
@mbyr31 If it was my truck, I sure would have! I had a tripod shoved up
under that truck, somehow…… thanks man!
if its a 5.3 watch out they had some bad cast for heads,they cracked
somewhere there is casting #s for the bad 1s and if yours is within those
#s you got the bad heads they have to be changed out good luck buddy keep
us informed plz

@1972FordF150 lol, I had to go and watch it. I added in a dog whine and
growl ( atleast thats what the files were named ) to cover up what was
being said in the background……. about “made in china products” I was
laughing cause they were saying holy shit the flywheel was made in usa and
the damn clutch made in china and some other words….. lol
