I thought I had the same problem on my 09 outlook, after changing bulb, the
next day it was out again. checked old bulb with a meter and found it was
good. I then got in there again like you, and pulled on the wire and the
light went on. I can’t find where the wire goes to replace it. GM want
$100.00 to fix it, so I’ll try the library to see if they have a wiring
diagram. I hope yours is still working. ATHOMAS

Took me about 30 minutes to replace it. I saved time by removing the whole
freaking tire. I removed the screws and tabs off the first half and than
folded the inner fender well back. I am not by any means a mechanic. It was
a pain in the ass!!! Toyota Tundra takes me 2 minutes!
