Can you demonstrate the resulting explosion when a flashback gets down the
line to the oxygen tank?

userunavailable3095 says:

Nice job! Good workmanlike result!

Andrew Watson says:

I hate those hooks the clasp always gets bent en in the way…stupid idea

Schmecklebak Melvin says:

They call them cumalongs everytime I used em. Handy if you don’t get greedy
with em. Then you have to get the old Massy to jerk it back. Excellent
repair job.

Wanabecoolguy says:

I would gave up when it was that close and bent that latch great job I
didn’t think it would get perfect again

specialks1953 says:

Brothers from a different mother! Different dads too but ya never know.
Great rigging! I love how you finally figure out how to do, what most
wouldn’t even attempt!

Don Hoo says:

Now your cooking with gas !

xenolard says:

Nicely done. I’d be tempted to put a bit of bar across the top. I know you
said it got in the way a bit but would add alot of strength.

Thisoldcar says:

Oh yeah a backhoe will dig right into a repair like that. Cheers OLDDUDE

Jersey Paul says:

Geez, that was a tough job Jeff.

jfv65 says:

i agree, you could make it removeable so you can swing the crossbrace out
of the way if need be.

ahnbra says:

Duty calls just as you were going to do some hay work. At least it gives
you a break from working on the truck wich you were ready for any how. Get
a safer Stool will ya! An injury crash. I have not heard that term in a few
years. In the Twin cities in Minnesota every one seems to use the term MVA
(Motor Vehicle Accident) wityor with injuries or unknown injuries. Thanks
for sharing. Look in you mirrors on both sides. no more ooopses that way.
BE SAFER next time.

David Okanagan says:

The term “come along” must be a western thing. I grew up in the Okanagan
Valley in BC. My Dad called them that. In the east, Canada, they are called
another name. I’m having a senior moment. Damn.

David Kaufman says:

New music and everything! Leaving the door unsecured while dumping is
something I would do! And when you said “just a wee bit more” would have
spelled disaster for me. That’s when the dump bed would have come flying
off! Great job on your videos, I think I have watched almost every one over
this holiday season. I may have to buy some stickers!

christophe lenoir says:

hard work :/

mustie1 says:

williamabeck46 says:

911rsq says:

Would love to see some more fire run videos too! Was hoping we were going
to get to ride along again.

RoflmaoAtSheepeople says:

Nice job you did ,I screwed up mine to and never could fix it as well as
you did well did I ended up takeing it in to a shop and the repair was
around $2,500 bucks. That hurt never did that again. And their`s a lot of
us who love waching your vids. And we heard about your uncle sorry . also
have the best of holidays.

Jersey Paul says:

I’m exhausted just watching you…LOL!

bitethedevil says:

Good hard work and going on an emergency run to boot!

turtlekiller3 says:

Most trash trailers have a crossmember welded in the middle of the box on
the top so it won’t bow from loading deafinately something to think about
doing make that bed stronger

Kevin Murphy says:

Happy New Year Jeff.Awsome video’s,thank you for making them and uploading
them.look forward to many more, all the best.

skoal22005 says:

great video

heliarche says:

Just love that “safety stool”. Don’t you have one of those Lincoln
tombstone welders?

Need A Goat Farm says:

Good reason not to Lear the door on your dump truck open when you raise the
bed.

The Shade Tree Fix-it Man says:

Too bad you didn’t have a rosebud tip for your torch it would have heated
your parts up much quicker. I often had to use them when heating axles up
to remove the frozen king pins. The cutting head just wouldn’t get it done
fast enough. Satisfaction with a job well done!

mossyra says:

happy new year jeff

jbmbanter says:

I am with Busia1949 and thought of a rosebud when Jeff was doing his
heating on the first video. Remember years ago using a rosebud to heat oil
to expand a bearing for a 2″ plus shaft. Heated it right up and the bearing
slipped right on! Jeff you have more patience than the rest of us! Keep the
vids coming and whenever you get a chance post a video of you starting
something that hasn’t run in awhile! We all like those.

Harold Epps says:

I believe, even a large welding tip would have heated better than the
cutting torch. You got the job done, though, congratulations.

Nice work Jeff, not that easy to fix..good video!

ElderlyIron says:

Ar ar ar!

Ron4936 says:

ya done well young fella 🙂

Graveltrucking says:

You must have burned up a bottle of acetylene heating up that corner lol.
Those comalongs had some tension on them the aircraft cable was as tight as
strings on a harp.

ScaleCarModels says:

Great vid!

Christopher Stephan says:

Great Job! Hey is that a white peacock I see way in the background on the
right side of the video?
