Fix your 97-00 GM truck or SUV dashboard with a molded ABS dash cover from DashSkin! This cover is molded to the exact shape of your truck’s dashboard, and mounts right over the top to cover cracks and holes. The cover requires no special tools to install, and mounts using silicone adhesive (included). The workmanship of the cover is warranted for life against cracking, warping, etc. Dash Skins even work great with large pieces of dash missing, as long as there is enough dashboard left on all edges (perimeter) to serve as a stable and level foundation for the cover. If you have cracks you will be covering, we advise cleaning your original dashboard well with rubbing alcohol, and bracing any cracks using extra 100% silicone RTV adhesive to prevent further cracking or rattling.

Super product. My advice is take it out of the box and dry fit it to your dashboard, ensuring it penetrates all the crevices it's supposed to do before you apply the adhesive. My installation met with an emergency when the Dashskin didn't sit properly on the left of the steering wheel. The dash plate, below the steering wheel, that spans from the emergency brake release to the cigarette lighter was too tight to admit the Dashskin into the gap, resulting in it not seating. Fortunately, the 7mm socket for the screws on the top of the dash fit the screws holding this, and as I loosened them, I was able to snug the Dashskin down to where it belonged and finish the job. Great product, easy install.
Thank you for this video, your videos are laid out great. I need this part for my truck. I noticed it looked like you replaced your wiper cowl cover with one without grates for airflow. Do you recommend this style? I am in need of a cowl replacement as well.
I wish someone would start making the bezel. Everyone with a late model needs one. I have 3 that I need. Great video.
Edit: I will use a step drill bit for the interior light switches so I can replace them if needed.
