I broke the driver side mirror on my truck and needed to replace it. The only way to access the bolts and the harness is to remove the entire inner door panel.
This video will show you step by step how to do that, as well as the simple tools needed to accomplish it.
This would also be helpful if you are wanting to replace the door speakers.

Why did we have to unplug the window and locks individually when you just disconnected the main harness anyway
Hey, I just purchased a 2016 GMC sierra 1500. Pretty sure its a base model because it has the 4×4 shifted on the floor. Only 50k miles on it though. But I noticed it doesn't have the adjuster for the the mirrors on the door. Any Ideas where I can look to find out how to adjust the mirrors?

I just replaced my 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 passenger mirror by this. The mirror part is 10mm, different from the 7mm of the door. Thanks for the video.

Just removed my window panel no need to remove window control panel. All you have to do is remove that one hidden 7mm bolt.

That cap on a rear view mirror is really tricky to take off and most of the time you break those little tabs no matter how careful you are!.Very clear tutorial though and keep them coming bro. I just subbed to your channel.Take care..

You don’t have to take off the window switches just that one screw which is hiding that’s it
