Miles Away says:

Update: The check engine light came back on within days of having it in the shop. I suspected a bad EGR so I ordered a new one. Upon removing the old valve I saw that there was no gasket. I'm assuming there should have been one so my secondary mechanic is either an idiot and forgot to replace it after removing it to clean it or someone else did. Long story short the truck runs great and this video saved me money and it is a great feeling knowing I did it myself. It was a little tricky trying to keep the gasket and bolts in place but a little duct tape did the job. I will be going to the mechanic I should've gone to in the future even if there is a 2 week waiting period (usually).
