Im a bout to do that on my 99 Blazer 4×4 next weekend. Thank’s for the
video! 🙂
Front and rear are identical correct? its a 4wheel drive blazer
Ok, going to attempt to do this in the next couple days…wish me luck. I
have a 2001 S-10 4WD. Wish me luck.
I just changed my wheel bearings on my s10 blazer. your video was precise.
I hoped it was because I stopped to buy 36mm socket based on your info
before I even looked at the vehicle. lol. Thanks
Once there is pressure back in the calipers, you may want to re-check them.

Great video. Thank you.
@crime943 I feel like a politician with this answer…I can’t say it is
“best” but it may be “convenient” as you have the car jacked up and all the
tools gathered PLUS most likely if 1 side is bad the other is not far
behind.
WILL THIS VIDEO WORK FOR A 02′ S-10 Chevy blazer “EXTREME PACKAGE” 2-door 2
wheel drive???????
@supersanchez1991 It enables the wheel to rotate smoothly while in motion.
@thomasplusamber The rear bearings are different than the fronts. We
currenty do not carry the rears for this vehicle.
THANKS VIDEO WAS A BIG HELP
Great video it help me understand better how to work on my car….May i say
something i think you might need an assistance to help you with the
cam…after all great video.
I ordered the replacement hub with bearings for our 1998 S10 Blazer 4×4
last Thursday and they showed up Monday night at our doorstep….VERY QUICK
SERVICE!!! I even called them a couple times asking questions and they
gladly assisted me with everything. Hubs were great looking and the price &
customer service is unbeatable. Great job guys!!! I will definately be a
returning customer & you guys will also be highly recommend to everyone.
The videos are also a great tool that you offer!
Thanks so much for these videos! This really helps people like me who do
their own work but don’t always know everything about a particular job. It
instills confidence that a person can do the job correctly and safely.
That’s great to hear. Thanks for watching. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
what does a ball bearing does?
after i put my breaks back on they had a slight wiggle on one side of the
break pad housing, is that because they needed break pressure or do i need
to replace my break pads? and your videos helped me out alot thanks
Hey Mike I’m currently doing this repair on my truck, I have the new hub on
but when I’m tightening the axle nut the gap between the hub and knuckle
isn’t closing, I’ve used my impact and its not budging. Do you have any
pointers? Thanks.
Sweet video. I’ll be attempting this next week on a friend’s truck…I’ve
done this type of work before, but it’s nice to know the specifics before
jumping in…THANKS!!!
We currently do not have an auto repair video on that particular year. The
basics should be similar, there may be a couple of things that need to be
done differently.
Thank you so much for this video it was accurate and precise. The only
problem I had was getting the old bearing off the axle. I was able to
prybar it off while tapping on the axle with a mallet. You saved me $230.00.
Try putting a little anti-seize on the knuckle and hub, also take a wire
brush (if you haven’t) and clean the rust of of the hole in the knuckle.
These tow things should make life easier for you. Hope this helps you out.
Good job Mike, thanks for the well detailed video.
when u replace the hub its best to replace both sides yes or no
You’re welcome. Thanks for watching.
is this the same for a 1500 silverado? 2003 5.3l auto matic trans. thanks
Thank you for your order. Have a great day! 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
