Here, I show you how to replace the Oxygen (o2) sensors on my 2000 GMC Sierra 1500. This should be the same process across all:
1999-2006 GMC Sierra
1999-2006 Chevy Silverado
Caution! Make sure vehicle is cold, otherwise, exhaust will be hot.
Sorry about the background noise and the pulsing light. My Light bar pulses when recorded and there was lots of construction going on on the main road!

Sorry dude but how the hell did you get your hand up in there to get the clip off for the driver side Upstream sensor without dropping the drive shaft.
Lots of information except for what i was looking for. I still have no idea the location of these sensors especially the Bank 2 sensor 1 I’m trying to find to replace. The video shows a close up of you replacing them but is not exactly sure what/where that is.
I can't get my arm up to the bank 1 sensor 1 connector. I think tomorrow i will pull the front driveshaft to be able to get to it.
Outstanding video! I put a long breaker bar on them and still can't break them loose. Did you have to use a torch on any of them to heat them up before they broke loose? I would assume not, since you didn't mention it. I don't even live in the rust belt! They are original though on my 2000 GMC Sierra 2500 with 125k miles.
My code reader shows P0405 EGR sensor bank 'a'. I assume bank 'a' is the same as bank 1
So I’ll have to do this in the snow

That one near the wall is really hard to get to
My 2003 GMC Sierra 1500 has a Vortec V6 which evidently do not use the GM AFS 138 sensors as shown in this video. I removed all four sensors from my truck and discovered that all four were identical as they came from the factory. Since the GM AFS 106 (also shown) do appear to be correct, I'm assuming that I should use four of these as replacements. Am I correct?

There are thousands of these Vortec V8 engines still in service, so thank you for this detailed video. These O2 sensors inevitably go bad after 200K miles (or sooner).

I got a 93 with a 454 in it how many Austin sensor supposed to be on these things I got one foot back in but I was wondering if they are two of them it has a 5-speed
On my '05 Yukon XL the connector for Bank 1, sensor 2 is the hardest part of this job as you need some baby hands & forearms to get at & seperate it. For those that with those handly little O2 sensor sockets (well worth the $5 on Amazon) in my experience more often then not the sensor will not budge & even a good penetrating oil will not help so take a propane torch & heat that suckered up being cautious of any fuel lines or wiring harness.
So hoping this solves my problem

After replacing sensors will the check engine go off on its own or does the battery need to be disconnect to reset check engine light?

I have an 01 GMC Sierra 4.8 liter rear o2 sensors are right but the front ones are not 138 just make sure you guys check your plugs I did a dummy mistake and copied his part numbers and they were wrong for the front o2 sensors so don’t make my mistake lol
