Skeet Larson says:

Can this cause P0174 and P0171 codes and cause a truck to bog down in rpms while idle?

Jerry Whitlock says:

Please somebody tell me what that filter part is called at 9:21 ? I’ve looked up diagrams and couldn’t find it. Mine is hanging down full of water and dirt i dont know how it got disconnected in the first place

Casey Anderson says:

I've seen those stupid little filters in 3 different places on the filler, up on the frame, and clipped to the trans. All seemed to be factory

Paul Kakela says:

I keep having issues with my dang 2015 Sierra 1500. Every time I get one code figured out, another one pops up. Your videos have been a great help though

John D says:

The small filter up by the filler tube , can't I just zip tie that anywhere that gets clean air ? Somebody zip tied mine to the very top of the transmission where I can't hardly get to it. Thanks in advanced.

Jason Fay says:

Was there other codes that could have come up when the Evaporative Emission Vent Solenoid Valve Control Circuit malfunctioned?

Mr cook says:

Ok I have no code but the hot light is on the scanner? HELP

AlphaGaming says:

I get the circuit malfunction code for my evap on my 96 gmc sonoma

Michael Kelsey says:

Ok so I just fixed this on a 2018, not a lot of material so I am trying to share the info. I did replace the bad vent solenoid but it still ran like crap. The REASON the valve went bad was from a filthy seal on the stupid Cap-less gas tank. Wiped it off and lubed the seal ran good as new. Good luck

Stephen says:

Yea ! Just pump that E85 in there. Flex fuel . What does that do to your charcoal? Plug it up along with everything else .

Zenas Solomon says:

I have a 2019 and it had a 499 code took it to shop and they changed the canister vent solenoid but the engine light will not stay off could it be the purge valve under the hood ?

Joel Chavez says:

do this solenoid keeps the car front starting

medicbrndn says:

Is there a part number for the hose going from the solenoid to the tank? Mine was rotten and broke when it came off?

Charles V says:

Thank you very much !!! I had the bed off of my 2013 Silverado 1500 to deal with a serious rust / rot issue and I could not remember where the fresh air intake for the evap was mounted ( welders removed the fuel tank ). After several hours of videos that showed the evap canister and solenoid but not the fresh air intake I came across your fantastic video. Thank you , Thank you. Well done

Bryson B says:

Very well made how to,thank you

evsnova74 says:
