100 amps is enough for that? I seriously need to do the big 3 in my car
then. I have a 120 amp stock alt on a regular battery powering an Alpine
1000 and an Alpine 50×4, also a 1 farad cap and I get some serious dimming
when anything else is on in the vehicle as far as heat, lights, ect. In
your professional opinion would I be better off with or without the cap?
I’ve heard both ways.
Great video man to me the best Lil series you’ve done working with the boy
is where the best memories are made. Great work as always can’t wait to see
the rest
I swear I can’t over the fact of how awesome I think it is you’re teaching
your son your trade. And also how you’re making him work for it. It’s like
if he wants this nice system then he’s going to install it himself. Gotta
work for the nice things in life. Great parenting. Big kudos and mad
respect man!
Hey meade I want to get two components. But let’s say that the RMS is 150
RMS is that for each side? Or is it rating both speakers and tweeters? Say
75 RMS for a total of 150. I’m confused.
Steve I have an challenge for you on Nov 22 upload a Shop tour of your shop
and if you do be a awesome bday present for me and for everybody else and
keep up the good builds Ayaaaaa
My Dad never “understood” the car audio thing. Ever since I was about 15,
I’ve had some sort of a system in my car. I’m almost 35 now. I can’t wait
to see our generation get old and still have slap in their rides, doing
hair tricks with hearing aids and shit!.
Damn I could go crazy if I had a shop like that. Bro your hella lucky your
dad is a badass. Steve you should have a contest where the winner gets to
use your shop for 8 hours or somthing.
Hey man since you are on the subject of the big 3 and alternators I want to
ask a quick question. I am planning on building a 1400 watt system: 600w
for mids and highs. and 800w for lows, and I have a 110 amp alternator that
is only a 2-3 years old. Could that alternator handle that much wattage or
would I have to get a new alternator to handle that kind of power?
I read somewhere that a stock system can usually handle 1000 watts, but I’m
running a little more than that.
I just want to understand what I need before I start buying things.
Thanks!
GUYS: FYI: The new Psyph Morrison album is now available and the first 500

hour job turn into about 4 hours…..heh
So its safe to drill on the side of the fuse box?
How does the big 3 wiring affect it? Anyone know?
i would just put ultracapacitors as my battery now those are the way of the
future :)
