Great videos. I have a Chevy Silverado 2008 and your videos have helped me out a bunch. Thanks!

Chris Arnold says:

I have the same issue. These window controls in the trucks
are junk!!! GM should have a recall on these instead of installing junk at the cost of customers!! I guess its the American way these days!

Michael Bomgren says:

Good job on the replacement. I almost went the same route but I decided to check and see if it were a simple fix. You showed me how to remove the switch, and I opened the box finding some grime on one of the contacts. A simple cleaning was all it took really. Didn’t spend a dime!

Kyle Foley says:

Thanks a lot for the video. I replaced the window and lock switch in 10 minutes. I did it for a fraction of what the dealer quoted me.

Drew Anderson says:

Hi Larasexymama21, I had the same problem , I changed the battery on my remote and that worked. Sometimes you have to clean / adjust the pulling tab on the door lock. It gets stuck from the dust or dirt. Let me know if this helps. Thanks for watching and please like and subscribe!

Drew Anderson says:

That’s great Gavirgo 32! Let me know how it goes. Thanks again buddy!

Drew Anderson says:

Easy Fix my friend. Thanks for watching!

Hi Geoffrey, Thanks for the great feedback. I’m glad you were able to repair it yourself. Please like and subscribe my friend! Thanks again!

Drew Anderson says:

HI hunttonasket, Is that the full price for the part and labor to install? If so that’s a great deal!

Drew Anderson says:

Thanks Jon Wang, Please like and subscribe bud!

Drew Anderson says:

No problem J Ramsey. Glad to help!

Geoffrey K says:

Thank you very much for the video. I was hesitant to do this to my 2009 Silverado Z71 and ran across your video. I ordered the part (Amazon is cheaper at this time) and installed it. I swear it took me longer to locate the socket and screwdriver than it took to install the switch. Dis-assembly is even easier than it looks on the video. Thanks for taking the time to put this out. Nice quality video also is a plus.

hunttonasket says:

That’s funny my brother works at the dealer and his price was $22

Jon Wang says:

Drew this is a great video. Thanks

J Ramsey says:

exactly what I needed, my 2010 has the exact same problem, THANK YOU!

tnsgfan says:

All the speakers except the right front have quit working. With a little research I found this to be a huge problem. With the left front speakers out none of the warning chimes are audible as they come through those speakers. There is a check engine code that will not go away but nothing can be found. The drive shaft has already been repaired under warranty becasue of a faulty coupling with the rear end but it has started malfunctioning again. Over all this truck is not built very well, IMO.

Drew Anderson says:

what else have you had problems with on your Sierra?

Drew Anderson says:

thanks for watching Mendez! Please like and subscribe buddy!

tnsgfan says:

Thanks Drew, this is one of many problems on my ’07 Sierra. It is the last GM piece of junk I’ll own.

Michael Mendez says:

Just what I needed thanks a lot for this video!

Hi Jeff, the last thing I want to do is to take my truck to the dealership. Because some of them know what the problem is but they want to do more unnecessary additional work to make more money and run up your bill. Its really easy to do my friend. Thanks for watching also like and subscribe!

Drew Anderson says:

I believe they have the instructions with the fuel door package. If not let me know. Thanks, Drew

Drew Anderson says:

Thats awesome to hear bud. I installed the OEM chrome door handles on my truck and it looks great! Just remember there are two different size screws and bolts so make sure to mark them so you dont rip the treads out of your new door handles.

Mark Lazzarini says:

I am having the same problem with my 2007 GMC Sierra and was not looking forward to taking it to the dealer for repair. I thought, what the heck, I’ll try YouTube to see if someone else has fixed the problem … low and behold, I found your video. Very good job on explaining it, I’ll make the repair myself! Thanks!

Jeff Wishart says:

Great video. I have been suffering with not being able to operate passenger window from drivers seat and didn’t want to take to dealership to fix. Ready to do it myself now.
Thanks

emj8402 says:

Hey, quick question. Do you know how to remove the fuel door? I’m looking to install an OEM chrome door. Thanks for your input.

emj8402 says:

Hey Drew, thanks again for posting. I replaced the switch. It works perfect now. You saved me $50 easy. Thank you so much. I’m looking forward to the door panel video. I got some door handles that I’m dying to get put on.
