For anyone watching this in the future, buy the Metra or Scosche wiring harnesses (Amazon or Crutchfield), you have to run the red ACC wire to an accessory source (I used a fuse tap in to tap into the Instrument panel cluster fuse on the engine fuse box, do not use fuses that are integral for vehicle operation or safety, you will lose door chimes and Onstar. 2010 Chevy Express 2500), and for the love of god at least use butt connectors when connecting wires together.
I have problems I can’t get my 06 gmc savanna I installed JVC big screen radio and radio doesn’t turn off and drains my battery can someone please help me out please
DO NOT tap into the creme color wire. Your radio will only come on when the a/c is on. Tap into the brown wire on the harness plug just to the right for switched power.
Hey man idk if I wired this incorrectly but the power is staying on after I turn my truck off (I have a 04 silverado) and it's draining my battery, you know a way to fix this?
Just put this radio in. The ignition wire for 2006 GMC Savana is Pink and power is being driven from the firewall direction. A simple connection with the 3 wires has me back in business. Same radio installed. Feels cheap but does the job. Thanks for the video!

tried to put one of these in my 2000 express and its so narrow its impossible to actually install into the space.

Can U wire the radio yellow wire to that top heat yellow wire instead of the red wire cux the bottom already has the red wire to it.
