Jacob Roberts says:

Is this install the same for an 08 chevrolet 2500hd duramax w/bose?
Thanks

stephen davis says:

Few quick ?s. I understand what you are doing in video and very thankful for your time spent explaining it so straight forward. But want to run a 5 channel amp instead of bose amp so.
1. If I'm going to be taking out my bose amp and sub. Is the kit to keep chimes and on star still needed? Or would this be 100% wiring?
2. Did you find it necessary to run and hi to low pass to not have a hi pitch sound with it?

BandidoTheVillain says:

What did you do in regards to the rear seat entertainment controls? Did that wiring come with the kit you installed as well?

FeatherKing says:

I installed a 4200NEX with a RP5-GM31 and a GMRSAV to keep the factory RSE system in a Chevy Traverse 2010. Everything seems to be working but I cant get dual zone audio to work. The headphone jacks in the backseat just mirrors whatever plays up front. I can set the rear dvd screen to a different source, but the audio never changes. If I plug a pair of headphones into the back of the head unit I can hear the second zone audio, but I get nothing through the GMRSAV through rear headphones, they always mirror the front audio. Have you ever run into this?

Hmong Muas says:

Will this work for 2008 silverado ltz with bose and overhead unit???

Isidro Soto says:

Have a 2007 Suburban same radio can this be done with oem touchscreen

Joe Ferdin says:

You did not mention 2014 Silverado. Will this guide help me on the silverado?

Juan Scott says:

Very helpful video.. appreciate that man.

Miguel Salas Photos says:

Question. Is there a way you can switch on and off the video from the front? Lets say I'm driving and want to listen to the radio and let the rear passengers watch the movie. Maybe I arrive somewhere early or my front Passenger also wants to watch a movie.

Wyatt Sexton says:

I need to find a switch 12 volt wire to connect to on the vehicle to power up my touchscreen Kenwood. U got any ideas? The harness red wire does not have enough volts to power the aftermarket Kenwood. I might have to run the red wire through the firewall to the fuse box located under the engine hood.

Austin Onyeche Jr. says:

You'd think in 2017 Pioneer would have a better looking default background for the screen.

Zach Crooks says:

I have a 2014 Tahoe with wheel controls no nav or Bose is this the harness I would use? On crutch-field says it doesn't fit but doesn't give the right harness

Lauriston Charles says:

Really nice video do you have a video that shows how to bypass the factory Bose amp? I'm putting an aftermarket head unit and amp need help

Raymond Ward III says:

From the Pioneer harness, you tie the blue/white wire to the blue wire for the bypass. But what do I do with the blue/white wire coming from the 16pin axxeas harness?

Thenitrorednecks says:

Does the DVD work the same as the factory dvd/CD player ? Can the kids watch the DVD in the back while I listen to music up front ? The DVD dosnt have to be playing in the front the entire time it's on in the back is what I'm asking I guess.

Guillermo Barocio says:

I have a 2012 GMC Yukon I'm thinking getting the same stereo system for me where do you get the wire harness and steering wheel control to install it ? The way you do it it looks easy

Markus Lafargue says:

where is your located & much u charge for installation?

Carson Ingram says:

I have the same exact unit in my 2011 GMC Sierra and everything is working except for audio, nothing is coming from my speakers not even static, I have everything wired together except for the " mute " , " reverse signal " , and " parking brake " wires because they didn't match with any of the wires on my adapter. What do I do with those and what could the problem be?

MEGAN HENSON says:

can the Bypass to retain the factory DVD monitor be added later? I bought a used Yukon 08 with a pioneer installed, but the back monitor is not playing and e brake was not bypassed

Damien Andrade says:

Would that stereo system work with the factory backup camera
