Jeff DaChef You are correct it will make your speakers sound like FOCALS
lol 😉 but we can only do what the customer asks for …. May post a video
of this just did my wifes van fronts 6.5″ the mid bass and mids are unreal
with a 4 channel amp in 3 way mode with a 8″ sub running off the 3and4
channels in 4 ohms bridged.. Soccer mom van audio, I Think not when Iam
driving it lol !

Hector's Tint Alarms & Audio / Video says:

Skatermike4 Rockford Fosgate Primes are great sounding speakers 6.5″ with a
factory or aftermaket Head Unit ……

skatermike4 says:

what are the best good budget 6.5 speakers for an 01 tahoe?

Jeff DaChef says:

should really do a custom baffle or at least some mdf rings with some
weather stripping around the speaker, mounting it straight up like that has
leaks that need to be sealed and those leaks will lead to a lot of sound
wave cancellation which takes away from midbass and midrange response.

BigSlick711 says:

Those q power look really nice where can i find them?

Alexander Neill says:

Thanks for the video! I have a question… hopefully someone will help. My
truck has a small tweeter above the big speaker… do I just leave that
alone?

somnambulist melatonin says:

This works for my 2003 sierra as well. Thank you for the wire colors. This
is how you make an instructional video. Fast paced because everyone has
pause.

deeman7411 says:

U sound really happy or something!!!

Hector's Tint Alarms & Audio / Video says:

@cougarboy3677 Yes these speaker are awesome , you can spend 2,3 times the
money and won’t get any better sound . Yes they will fit your truck, but
need a lil modificastion. Thank you.

UltimateAudio936 says:

Great video ma, I just installed 2 ds 65s in front doors of a 95 silver ado
the kind of distort on an alpine head unit. Should I put amp on them?

Paul Blakey says:

cab soon.

Hector's Tint Alarms & Audio / Video says:

PHongi Longi says:

? i have a 96 Toyota Camry and want to get rid of the factory speakers. So
i was wondering what size are mr side door speakers and the two back
speakers are. and i was wondering if i could get something like the truck
did. And what would the price range be for something like that.

builtta says:

I have a 2005 silverado, are the wire colors the same as on this gmc for
pos and neg ?

John Le says:

Tanner Mcevoy says:

eljohnsongrande says:

Mrmando369 says:

the front speaker only and leave the rear speaker run with just the deck

PHongi Longi says:

would this system fit in my 96 toyota camry hector. The 6.5 kickers

Hector's Tint Alarms & Audio / Video says:

@maliq32 Yes and amp will bring out much better sound on any speaker. What
head unit are you using ? What car or truck is it in ? Who installed it ?

Daryn Schultz says:

Julian Truxillo says:

and video yourself actually building, i just do pictures lol. This guy
knows whats going on, The fact that you actually have the wiring codes
memorized blows me away, i just remembered the front 2 lol. GOOD VIDEO.

kstone007 says:

@HectorsCarAudio1 I just want to say thank you for posting such a great
vid, i was able to swap out my beat up factory speakers, and it sounds
waaaaaaaaaay better. Thanks again!!

blankerism says:

You’re from the Valley? I just bought some DB speakers shallow mount
speakers from D-Tronics…..for my Tundra but i’m now installing them in my
fathers ’01 Suburban front door speakers. will the process be similiar as
far having to drill out holes to mount them? and how about the wiring
connections?

Hector's Tint Alarms & Audio / Video says:

Yer sir.

Hector's Tint Alarms & Audio / Video says:

@Rancher936 Yes they are distorting from clipping (aka dirty power). A new
4 channel amp will be the best thing for any speaker better lows mids and
highs with plenty of power to spare , what you always want .

Hector's Tint Alarms & Audio / Video says:

Hmm that doesn’t sound right ? Check to see behind the radio on the speaker
wires with a multimeter set to ohms test across each speaker and make sure
they are at 4 ohms, if lower 1.0-OL that speaker is shorted and causing
your problem .. I see alot of the front door speaker connection tabs
shorting to the door frame ….. Some radios freak out like yours or some
with current protect will turn off the radios built-in amp to protect it
from burning out . It would be the speaker if it sounds fine

Hector's Tint Alarms & Audio / Video says:

@blockboi9211 First off I don’t like bad language! This is going to be the
last message I answer , next one(s) will be removed ! I have to go with
customer(s) budget’s , I wish I could install JL Audio all day long ( I
have JL Audio as well ) with Focal , Morel , Rainbow , SEAS , and Pro Audio
ects < witch these brands will take out JL Audio ZR's out I am not trying to be mean but it is the truth.. $1,000.00 and up, yes One thousand dollar components up to $2,500.00.

Montoya817Eddie says:

Hector's Tint Alarms & Audio / Video says:

it helped .

Hector's Tint Alarms & Audio / Video says:
