PhOeNiXpIoLe says:

sounds pretty straight foward, the bolts on there like you said ‘inverted
torx’ are kind of intimidating now that I know that all I need is a socket
wrench it shouldnt be a problem.

Do you guys know if unplugging the seat will fix the driver side heated
seat problem of automatically turning on every time I open the door, or
what whould fix this

PhOeNiXpIoLe says:

But how do I remove the seat from the car?

MikeK says:

Great video. I used it to replace the seat foam drivers side, took 2 hours
start to finish. Followed this video the whole way.

TheSeatShop says:

I have never heard of the seat heater turning on when opening the door. I
don’t think that unplugging it and plugging it back in will solve the issue.

TheSeatShop says:

Min 1:18 – 1:36…You will need a 15 MM Socket for the front two nuts, and
an 11 MM Socket for the back two bolts. These will look like inverted torx
(star) bolts and nuts, but the 15 MM and the 11MM will fit on there tight.
Once the 4 fasteners are loosened, you will need to unplug the power
connections underneath the seat at the back. These are quick connect power
plugs. After disconnecting the power, the seat should lift right out of the
car.
