Did you disconnect your battery to instal and connected it back to test?
I bought the speaker adapters for my 02 Tahoe and tried to install 6.5 inch boss speakers with it and the speaker adapters were too small for the speakers. Had to return them.
I ordered the Metra 82-3002 pair of brackets. You failed to mention not all speakers fit the bracket. That would have been helpful. I bought a pair of Alpine SXE-1726S from Crutchfield and they don’t fit in the brackets you said we needed. Frustrating…
Plus I know you’re trying to save time and keep the videos to the point, but it is helpful to see how you do these steps, not just that you did these steps. No real need for video if you’re just going to show results without the process.
Just insane and retarded you can’t just remove the grilles and get at everything. Why are designers so stoopid?
Do thy have a bracket for the back door ??
On the driver side door what color is positive and negative?
On the wiring adapter , is black positive and white negative or does it not matter
I want speakers for my 2001 Suburban1500. Are they 6 1/2 or 6 3/4?? I have seen conflicting answers. Thanks.
I'm confused, when I try to order the Metra 72-4568 from Amazon they're saying it does not fit my Tahoe?
Do you need an adapter for the rear doors?
I ordered all the parts you suggested but the speaker brackets were to small for the speakers
Did you had to do modification to the adapter
I mean (cut off some parts from the adapter )
Poor video. You don't show doing anything.
Any tips on quieting down the door panel from rattling so much
What's the biggest you can put in those doors? Without cuttin and making boxes
You skipped how to remove the speaker that's one of the most important steps if you don'twanna break anything :/
U skidded Several important parts lol
Not downing you bud but you do a poor job explaining things to us. You skipped a lot of steps and just overall didn't really give any good advice. I appreciate ya posting a video tho and not trying to be a dick, just saying your video would be better if you took time and explained it in steps.
Great video but you did the easy part how about running the wires through the door grommet to put a real amplifier in the truck that would have been a good video talking about getting some views!!!
This Chanel has been so helpful.. I have an 04 single cab Sierra as a little toy truck, been thinking about doing my sound system myself and you guys got me feeling confident enough to do the head unit and speakers.. the only thing I’m shaky on is on adding a sub and amp. Like how or where to mound the amp and sub… do you have any videos that could help?
