62 years old and worked on trucks for years and I didn't know they had filters , I thought mine was a fresh air gate not working

Doesn't work for my 99 chevy tahoe LT with the 5.7 v8. The older chevy don't have incabin airfilter but have a blower that gets crap stuck in it and stuck on the heating unit.
