Damn Canadian accent! Makes me wanna watch Trailer Park Boys. Thanks for
the in depth video, its given me a lot of knowledge and confidence to do my
caprice classic.
Thanks for taking time to film this. A thirty minute job took much longer
with the camera.
great tip on filling up the underside of the thermostat housing man, had
never occurred to me
Thank you for the tip on removing the fan bolt……saved alot of time.
P.S. nice product placement…lol
A+ =)
hey man thank you for making this video. it was much appreciated
The last water pump I did was a Ford Taurus on that transverse POS 4cyl.
Very tight, should have pulled the dam engine. It was a total pain in the
ass. A long time ago, I broke a bolt in the block on an old Ford. That was
a nightmare. i.e. I hate Fords, and I hate doing water pumps, and won’t. I
have Fordopumpaphobia. I remember doing a VW 1.7L pump, was easy as pie.
Betwixt strut towers and sideways engines, it sux! Some vans can be a bitch
too. Trucks have room to make it easy like this one.
Yes there are a real pain. Some of the cars the water pump is driven off of
the timming belt so you can imagine water it can do if the water pump
seizes up. Some of the little cars are interfearence engines and it takes
the valve train out.
frost plug replacement video comming as well lol.
