Next time you change out a hydraulic cylinder (wheel cylinders
included)”start” the hard lines in the cylinder first then bolt the master
to the booster…It’s easier to move the cylinder around to accept the pipe
nuts than to wrestle with the pipes to make them go where the are supposed
to go and there will be no cross threading..Just a tip my friend.
yeah I had to have this done to my 93 chevy cheyenne back in 2010 and its
the exact same as your truck except mine the bolts was rusted to the master
cylinder and a common problem on these chevys is they leak right at the
gasket between the metal part and the resevoir and here is a tip..make sure
yours has a warranty because it will go bad again in a year at least I know
mine went bad after nearly 3 years and barely any use…awesome video too
i like gravity bleeding. Also a lot of chevys suffer from needing a auto
bleed done. It cycles the antilock system and drives air out . If you have
no computer to do it ,then you can kinda do it by. locking the brakes with
two wheels off blacktop , then do for otherside. Need to make the antilock
cycle sometimes to make feel right. .
Clean brake fluid helps a lot (Thumbs Up) when it comes to brake
performance. Most people don’t realize brake fluid goes bad from moisture.
You may consider switching to DOT 4 to get a higher boiling point.
RE: Jim Rowlings comment. He stated “you don’t need to bleed wheels when
replacing the master cylinder.” Well Mr. Know it all, or so you think you
do. I’m here to correct you. Any time a line is removed, the system must be
bleed. Air is now trapped in between the master cylinder and that brake
line.

I think you should do some plumbing videos, maybe if you come across
something interesting maybe do a video of it.
Still A LOT better than anything on tv!

not to bad to fix..had some help though.
Don’t you think we could handle videos about S bends and IP’s…lol
no pedal rubbing man , keep that to u self lol
you can bleed the master cylinder at the line on the master cylinder most
of the time you don’t have to go to the wheels
