Hey good video’s! But I have a question maybe you could help, I’m putting
Heads off a 02′ Ls1 Camero SS, “& I wanna use Head Stud’s” on my 00′ Truck
Ls 5.3, will I need 02′ Camero Head studs? Or….?? Any help will be
greatly appreciated thanks!

DurpandDurp says:

Using the ls1 valves in the 5.3 head isn’t necessarily better. As the
bigger valve take up more room on a already smaller throat. With the bigger
valve the air has to move around it, there is a video
On here somewhere explaining it, I put 5.3’valves in my ls1 heads, and long
tubes and just that made it more responsive. The studs look awesome always
wondered about them, just so I’m clear this isn’t criticism just one car
guy knowledge to another. I’m sure the bigger valve has it’s advantages.
Keep on wrenching!

Kendall Battle says:

I have a 92 Camaro rs ran fine at first until the guy at O’Reillys put
straight coolant in my car no water, now when I ride the temp stays just
above 220. Do you think it’s because of the coolant please help.

Are you gonna do a step by step install? I have 3 of the 85 chevy trucks
one is a 4×4 and would love an LS1 between the frame rails.

32bitcal says:

Remember to use slow and smooth movements with your torque wrench till it
clicks.

Quick rapid jerks won’t give you a true reading.

It’s funny just read your response about the deflector, it was actually
dragging on the freeway for about an hour didn’t know until I slowed down
on the street where I heard it, got home and zipped tied it up threw the
holes on the bottom. I figured that May also be a problem because it was
blocking the radiator.

Randall Wyatt says:

I live in Houston Texas, and yes he added 100% coolant, I went out today
and drained about 60% and added the rest water, drove it around about 30
minutes and now it’s running fine again. So me living in Houston where it’s
really hot do you suggest I run 25% coolant and the rest water? First
Camaro any help would be appreciated. THANKS!

I have one more question why does my 92 Camaro rs stall on me from time to
time, is it because I don’t let it warm up long enough, sometimes I give it
2 minutes tops and reverse and then it stalls not all the time just some
days

Nicholas Brokemond says:

Great video makes me want to go build engine even more now.

Rico4801 says:
