This is way better than cutting the wires, soldering the cut out VaTs chip in place and wrapping it in electrical tape.

Picked up a 94 Camaro about 6 months ago (did not come with original key). About a month ago it wouldn't start. Found out the ignition wire was cut already. GM resistor pack I got didn't work. Would this product work still without factory key? Id just go through the 15 switches with a few min. in between and see what # works?

Good video PJ! A little more expensive than putting a couple resistors in series, but definitely looks better to the laymen that don't know what the VATS bypass is just a simplified set of resistors using DIP switches. #Lockboss (not that it matters for this video)
hi will this work forever ? i have a 04 Buick regal still starts and runs ok, but security light is on and code points to high resistants on the security sensor, looked around key area noticed a broken wire by the key ring, so one of the white wires. if i bought this and plugged it in i should be good to go forever ?. would i be able to put in a aftermarket alarm after doing this ? thanks much and god bless.

I have a 1998 Oldsmobile 88 with the vats if you disconnect the battery terminal the alarm automatically engages.
