Golden Master Mac OS X Yosemite is out!

Guys, Yosemite – Developer Preview 2 has just been released. Update from
Beta 1 to Beta 2 is now available through Mac Appstore. Check the
description below the video to see the latest release notes.
So, I am currently on Mavericks, and I have downloaded way too much things
that I can’t afford to loose. Is there any way I could update to OSX
Yosemite Developer Preview 7 without loosing any apps and information.
Is OSX Yosemite stable, as to have it on an everyday use device? I mean, Do
you consider it stable for using it everyday?
I wanted to know if there’s a way that I don’t lose all my files and
program like music software etc because some I won’t be able to download
again. If I partition my drive would that work? Or is there a different way
and how will it be guaranteed?

You could also install it on a seperate HardDrive or partition. This way
you don’t ruin your Mac by running a beta. You can then select from which
device by holding alt during startup or set it in the system preferences
click on startup disk and click on Yosemite Mavericks or any other/previous
version
One question , I am currently running MAVERICK RIGHT NOW . If i install
YOSEMITE, will my data such as Photos in iPhoto ,applications , Documents
files , will it be gone ?will installing YOSEMITE wipe out EVERYTHING
completely?
Last question, If I am updating to yosemite without a developer account, am
I safe? And plus, how should I update: first to beta one and then update
