If you’ve owned a full GM Truck or SUV since 2000, then you’ve probably dealt with broken door outside door handles. We replace a couple on a 2012 Escalade, which is very much the same as a Silverado, Sierra, Suburban, Tahoe, and Yukon. With just a few simple tools, this job can be done in 20 minutes.

Cheap plastic junk
Thank you for this video! I wouldn’t have been able to replace my handle without it!
What website did you purchase the 4 pack from ?
I'm just gonna mix up some epoxy and stick it back on . also my Driver side inside door pull open handle has broken , so I bought the repair kit ,still sitting on the coffee table , but I've been rolling down the window SO LONG now , just so I can pull the outside handle just to get out , I do this in every vehicle I drive now , I've created a stupid habit . CHEVY IS JUNK !!!!!! all four speakers failed in the first year . Luckily I bought the 4.8Liter this engine is a 50s design and should hold up well . When I see a Dodge or or Ford I get a little jealous . I know I should have bought the TUNDRA !!!!!!!! I'd Love to have a Hilux Rugged X .
these factory handles suck , I've had two female ( old Lady ) passengers break these handles ^^#&^%#&^#$F @$%$#ck
I did this on my 07' Cadillac escalade passenger side and everything was put back correctly but whenever I go to lock it with the key fob, the door does not open. neither the inside nor outside door handle will open the door. I keep having to unlock it manually with a rod through the window panel. Any ideas on why this is happening?
Chido papy, Gracias
Thank god for you nd thank god for YouTube thank you so much easy video to go by !!!
I would put wd40 on the handle nuts because u use the same bolts. Also a magnetic tool to retrieve the bolts or magnetic sockets. May be possible to magnetize some sockets. I did not like the fast talk, the waving of the tools and parts around, quick camera movement, otherwise quite helpful
Awesome work! 7mm not a 10mm though
The nuts under the handle are not budging, they also shredded little metal flakes while trying to loosen them. Any help to get these off?
what about the driver door lock cylinder replacement?
