Hardest part is swapping the custom covers from the old mirror to the new mirror. The tabs are really easy to break.
all in less than 9 minutes. bravo
I just did this ALL BY MYSELF! (62 year young great grandma!). Thank you for this video! I’m so glad I didn’t have to tell anyone I hit the garage door and smashed the rear view mirror!
I just bought these to replace on my 2008 chevy and the RH Mirror dont sit flush on the door i dont know whats wrong… i compared it to the original one and it seems that the one i recieved has the metal part of the mirror sticking out about 1/2in and that prevents it from mounting flush. I will contact customer service first thing tomorrow morning
Great video, super helpful. I replaced both my mirrors in about 1.5 hours. You don't need to completely remove the vapor barrier and mine just stuck back on easily.
They post a' How to do It yourself video, then GHOST everyone who asked questions about the process, I Unsubscribed moving on to Channels that will reply.
If my mirrors are non-powered do I still need to take the door panel off? Thanks
Thanks. Your videos are top notch.
You can do all of this without taking off the door panel completely… just let it hang off a little bit..
Love how they make it look so easy. That little quarter panel was a pain to get off and the was really stuck in there also.
Would t his be the same process for the right side?
I installed them. But, now when i put it in reverse the passenger mirror wanders around. Would be fine but when i put it back into drive it dont return to its original spot. Suggestions?
Do you all have the side mirrors with the 10 LEDs in the turn signal? I have an 09 avalanche ltz with the turn sgnal on the light that has more leds than that one
In regards to the white vapor barrier, were you able to reuse the Butyl Tape when putting it back on or did you have to replace that? Thanks.
Does anyone know how to retrieve that top nut he dropped into the door frame? The same exact thing happened to me. He never acknowledged it and magically had it afterward to install the new one.
Does this work the same with the 2007 avalanche or is it different?
