GM is simply an early final version for developers, so they can get all the final tweaks to their apps before the actual release drops on the 18th. there are no extra features in the GM build other than it being the finalized version with early access.
Why would a beta version of iOS 7 be better than the official release?
For my iphone it cost about 500 mb and if you did everything like jeremy your data shouldn’t be deleted

I downloaded iTunes 11.1 beta 2 from the web – just search it on Google. I also had to get the ipsw from a different link because his link said the file was removed. LOL Could have waited a week or two but it’s just fun to me to do all this crap to get it ahead of time. LOL

I have a verizon iPhone 4s and the iOS 7 GM update worked! 🙂 The only con I see is that the panoramic photo wallpaper feature doesn’t work
how is your screen so bright if your brightness bar is so low?
So ive seen some people saying that if you update to GM on a Windows computer then you wont be able to sync with iTunes because you need iTunes v1.11 which isnt available for Windows. It was a while ago when i updated to beta 1 so i forgot if your device looses everything on it if you update. if you dont loose anything then i wont mind not being able to sync wit iTunes for a little while. if i do loose everything then i will wait to get GM. Im pretty satisfied with beta 6
GM stands for Gold Master which is the final iOS 7. its no better than the iOS 7 that is releasing in 7 days.

Jeremy I tried to update IOS 7 beta 6 I had already installed on my iP 5 to the IOS 7 GM which I was able to do but IOS 7 GM was not compatible with the current iTunes version. I don’t have a developers acct. Is it possible for me to go back to IOS 7 beta 6 until the GM is officially released? I have been using IOS 7 since the first beta was released and I prefer not to go back to IOS 6 now, can you help?
