How To Fix Electronic Issues In The Instrument Cluster Of An ’03-’07 GM Truck

In this episode of PowerNation Extra, LT from Truck Tech explains how to fix electronic issues in the instrument cluster which is common in 2003-2007 GM truck and SUVs – like the one they have in the shop. Some fixes you can try are:
1. Take the cluster out and send it to a repair shop for aroun $100.
2. Go down to your local dealership and likely need to get a new cluster for around $500.
3. Or repair it yourself, as LT shows you how, for about $20 and an hour of your time.

There is actually less room for error if you mark the zero home location unpowered rather than the powered location.
Also, there is no need to peel the face layer off, that whole top half can come out in one piece.
But great video, your editing it top notch.
