All good ,but what if the decoder module is bad ? How do you trick the ECM to allow fuel injectors to work. All the timer 30hz and 50hz modules only work for 89 up, but vats came out in 86 !!

Can you just. Check the resistor on the key .
And then fit correct one .
My key barrel . Turns on to start too far . And its dead .
If i let key turn slight back it cranks and starts

Measure resistor on key. Then measure resistor. When find combination that equals key resistance, solder together . And install on car wires. Done
