Got a 2006 Silverado want shift to Overdrive and it hesitate when cranking some time need help
I have a 2009 GMC Sierra 1500 quad cab 5.3 4×4 my gauges go crazy doors lock and unlock but mostly when I'm doing 55 mph down the road it will downshift and won't re shift again I gotta keep a scanner plugged in and when it does it I gotta clear the codes then it will shift again any ideas? I've changed the ECM module the module under the truck by the spare tire a new ignition had a shop say there was a break in the wire harness that runs under the truck on the frame rail they fixed that changed the 175amp mega fuse also cleaned the connection for that the braided ground wire on the back of the motor going to the firewall was breaking apart so ran a new thicker wire only other thing I can think of that wasn't done is the BCM
I mess up it started how do I redo it
Is this on the tbc fuse? I have a 1.79 amp parasitic draw on that fuse
I've got a 08 Duramax crew cab. Been fighting an intermittent electrical problem where I will get multiple DIC messages (Service Air Bag, Service 4 wheel Drive, Service Trailer Brake, Service TPMS) All the instrument gages will go to zero, the radio will go dead, and I lose control of the HVAC and 4 wheel drive selector. Turn signals also go out on the instrument panel but the turn signals in the mirrors still operate and the marker under the drive selection goes away. At first I isolated this to the module that interfaces with the aftermarket radio. Replaced that module and all was good for 7 months now the issue is back. I tried to isolate the HVAC and radio module but the issues still returns. I do get the P0140 loss communication code. Does this look like a BCM issue? If I have to relearn the air bag system, what is needed to get it reprogramed if I change the BCM. Thanks, Dean
Had a mechanic tell me he was 99% sure it was bcm. Got one in and replacing now. Is it normal for the truck to start on the 1st step if the re learn process?

I've got a 2001 gmc sierra ext cab 4×4 5.3 the ac stopped working all of a sudden. Thought it was compressor had everything replaced. And it won't turn on. My mechanic made a relay that was constantly on and if you plug it in the fuse box the compressor will kick on. Take it out put the oem relay in it won't cut on. He says it's showing it sending the signal or power but won't come on unless putting the relay he made in it. Also i could not get new keyfob to program when buying the truck. I'm having battery drain also. Will a bcm fix these issues?

Had a jumpstart go wrong and im pretty sure it fried my bcm. The truck still runs though. The radio fuse blew and most of the electrical in truck doesn't work. For example after the jumpstart i have no headlights, gauges dont work except for rpms. radio, door locks and windows and no communication with obd2 port but does power up. Does that sound like a bad bcm?

I have an 03 Chevrolet Tahoe 5.3L LT flex fuel vin eight digit Z rwd I replaced my ddm on and all the regulators the only window that works is the driver rear but my cluster doesn't work the only thing that works on it is the speedometer my radio don't work my everything else inside my vehicle does not work could it be my cluster or could it be my BCM I'm just a single mom with four trying to figure out her vehicle I replaced a lot of stuff if I can get any answers or if you could help me I would greatly appreciate it I've seen your videos on YouTube you know they've helped me a lot my email is jjenny8481@gmail.com if you can send me some links or any information on what I could do or something I would really appreciate it thanks for understanding

Hey there! Helpful video, helping me to nail down where my problem lays here.
I'm adding cruise control to a 2011 silverado, with parts I've taken out of a 2008 one. I've got the steering wheel all set, everything out back together and plugged in. But no dice on the cruise.
I swapped the wiring harness under the airbag. Cut a notch for the switches and mounted everything. (Looks great actually, pulled off a factory look)
Cruise still doesn't want to engage. No lights, no nothing. BCM issue? Where do I go from here? Please help!?!

My 03 Silverado 4.3 every couple weeks will start to ding then the BRAKE and ABS light comes on, That last a few minutes then turn it off then back on and it stops. Zero other issues with the truck. People are saying BCM ?
