GM stopped building the Bolt because they're gonna bring in a bunch of Chinese-built, more affordable EV's to flood the US market.
Well if Chevy cleared $1000 on each Bolt and $10000 on each big truck…
19k Bolts mean $19,000 profit
2 Hummers mean $20,000 profit
20 EV trucks means
$200,0000 profit
The GM CEO is a complete idoit… 100% EV production is foolish. Yes there should be EV'S, but only for about 30-40% of the population.

Electric vehicles weigh 900 pounds plus compared to it's combustion engine counterpart. Parking garages are collapsing and electric cars are suspected to be the culprit as parking garages are not designed for this extra weight. I assume extra weight contributes to road wear and tear.
Did these ceos become ceos through a divorcé settlement?
Leasing is perfect if you dont drive that many miles per year, dont care to own a vehicle more than 3 years , I have a classic car that I OWN, It is not a daily driver, My driver is what I happen to be leasing at the time
GM CEO needs to step down, her idea and price gouging idea is not working, if she stays the CEO for the company GM will be bankrupt, advise to GM board of directors, people don't have the money to spend high dollar on cars is not worth it. If you made money during the epidemic it won't be the case in the future, you just help other good manufactures like Toyota.
and by 2025 they will sell only 500 , fossil fuel productions will crank up and EVs will be only bought by city dwellers and become a fad

Not sure why GM is so obsessed with big cars… Still the majority of cars on the roads are sedans.. At least in cities and the suburbs.. We are also the ones buying or trying to buy electric cars. Been trying to get an electric car and I like my Chevy Malibu, but seems like GM will not be my next car manufacturer… And many say the same.. What's wrong with them?!
Does anyone really dream of owning a Bolt? Why doesn’t GM reboot the Corvair with efficiencies such as an air cooled engine and manual transmission? I’m sure there would be a market for a new Corvair – retro is very popular.

You don't know anything about evs get a life.
To be fair, this is what the car brands really want, they want to push people away from smaller cars as smaller cars usually make consumers haggle more for better deals. People buying obnoxiously big cars tend to be those who just want the flashy fancy stuff over having a good deal. Plus smaller cars being popular would mean having to work more on emission requirements. Since the bigger vehicles get their own fuel economy requirements they just want to push people towards those as it saves engineering costs.
Everyone here that bought one had problems with them.
