An update, the 15 amp fuse didn’t last long, as the unit actually draws 15
amps exactly.
So I replaced it with a 20 amp, and mounted a fuse holder I took out of an
old Microwave oven. The copper wire I used is the solid center conductor
from RG6 coaxial cable. All is good. If the other fuse blows, it too will
have a fuse holder added.

After I blew two fuses in my charger, I replaced the fuses with 15 amp
circuit breakers and mounted them in the bottom near the charge connector
so I could press the button to reset them. This worked for a while until
the whole damn charger failed completely. I am in the process of
installing a JuiceBox charging station…
