Michael Nesteroff says:

I just got a loaner car from my local GM dealer, I highly recommend this.
They said parts won’t be in until mid-April.

falcondriver100 says:

This is why I no longer buy American brand cars. Fuck GM and Ford. Ford did
the same thing with the Pinto.. CEO said “Its cheaper to pay out the
lawsuits than to fix the problem”. Plus, their cars are pieces of shit.

Michael Schwartz says:

Before ignition switches and loss of power steering, do you feel that being
able to EXIT YOU VEHICLE is necessary?? Another FAIL of a 100 year old
company!!!

General Motors Safety Failure!

kanehi says:

I’ve owned multiple “American” cars such as Ford, Dodge, Pontiac and Chevy
and all of them were recalled in their lifetime. I used to own a Datsun
but when Nissan took over it was a different story as the quality went
downhill. When I was shopping for a new car and after researching Hyundai
was the least recalled vehicle so I got one. I’ve owned a 2006 Tucson and
it’s still running like new, a couple of minor recalls but Hyundai fixed it
right away even before NHTSA put out a bulletin.

Terry Rodbourn says:

Avoid bumpy roads?! I guess you never drive on an American road!

Tony Tran says:

Then I went to purchase a Ford in 2003. In five years, there was so many
problems with the vehicle. Defective power windows, broken water pump.
Failure transmission
Later, I had to trade in for the Honda in 2008. Now, it is 92000 miles
without any failure. This is the best of the best in its kind. The next
vehicle I would purchase still will be a Honda!!!.

Tony Tran says:

Mike, thank you very much for sharing. You just give a lot of attention to
everyone.

Reduce your risk by not buying gm cars

Naimad Smith says:

1:44 Anybody want to see photos from a crash where airbags did not go off
in a head on crash w/ a Cobalt? Long story short, some college students
lost it on snow, and head-on crashed into my ford E-350 diesel van. All
of my airbags blew, but in the car, only a back window airbag went off, the
rest did NOT go off, leaving the occupants unprotected. At the time I
thought it was “odd” the bags did not go, but now in light of this recall,
it made me think and painfully revisit those photos. Both vehicles were
totaled, and nobody died, still those airbags….

PM or reply.

Tom Miller says:

I was driving a 2005 Saturn Ion for 2 years with this fucking defective
switch —- I am now hiring a lawyer to sue the FUCK out of GM for mental
anguish —- no company has the right to trifle with my precious life !!!!!

BILTON & FRIENDS says:

Oh I see your problem here. You own a house.

Tony Tran says:

Ford=Fuck

charley mike says:

Sorry, but even after a car loses power it can still be stopped, it can
still be steered. This is a problem that needs fixing, but how many
inadequate drivers are actually at fault? I can’t blame GM solely for this
issue.

Tony Tran says:

One more thing, I had 8,000 dollars rebate in my GM credit card. One day, in
the 90’s, I called GM and said that I want to cancel out my credit card. A
GM rep asked, “Why do you want to cancel it, you have 8,000 rebate on it”.
I said, “I don’t want it any more, just cancel it for me. The 8,000 is
yours”.
And guess what? 15 years later, GM went out of business.

Tony Tran says:

Falcondriver100,
I had a Chevy Blazer in the 90’s. There was a loosing ignition key one day
and I went back to the dealer for the repair, but GM did not want to repair
it because the people there said that the new ignition switch is just
looked exactly the same.
It was so funny for the answer that I got rid of the vehicle in the end of
that year.

wspycher100 says:

Idiot. It doesn’t matter what type of ignition you have you should never
have that much crap hanging off of it. It will still wreck the tumbler.

Tony Tran says:

GMC=Goofy Motor Crap
