Are you kidding me scotty??? Those muranos are an absolute pile. I wouldnt take one for free. If the versa is an S model, it will have the conventional transmission
I have a 2020 VW Tiguan. When I fill up the tank it says I should have an estimate of 360 miles to go before the tank is empty but the trip odometer says I’m only going 209 miles before it’s empty. What could be going wrong?
As far as the versa and Marano I agree with scotty I wouldn’t buy either..Nissan period have gone to crap after like 2010 and got so bad the newer..which sucks cuz the earlier ones lasted long time..Christ you still see like the 2000’s altimas and maximas around with 200k miles n going strong

Is better bet but gas ain’t as good as the versa also make sure the marano has a work history and def see if there any records on having the transmission fluids replaced if not every 30-60k miles at least a couple times and as soon as you get it make sure that transmission fluids replaced first…they’re notorious known for blowing transmissions due to lack of changing fluids and they already run hot as it is…the newer ones have a better transmission cooler
But the older ones either had no cooler lines or just small amounts of fluid in trans that got hot on long trips or city drives..and they burned out the already weak jacko CVT belt in the transmission
Scotty, what do you know about dodge. My father bought an 2006 dodge cummings extened cab diesel truck. He drove over a puddle of water and fried the ecm and injectors because the ecm is mounted on the engine, LOL!. His insurance paid and he bought a newer one 2010 model and it caught on fire because of a short. Now he is faithful to dodge. So his insurance paid for it once more and he bought a jeep this time and now the jeep over heats uphill. I cant save him anymore what is the best american truck he can buy.
And where are most of these parts made.? Japan.! You know the beloved country where your Toyota are headquartered at.

Scotty I’m from Australia I have a 2004 3.8 litre eco tech engine about 150 miles I’m having trouble with my abs module it come on and off some days not at all. It’s got traction control that comes up too can I do that trick we’re I connect the cables with a piece of wire will that reset it.
Dump the affirmative action CEO get a gear head, ex racer, desiner builder and make simple cheap economical car, bring bank the iron duke s-10 and make cars same drivetrain 32 mpg
I bought an ‘05 Saab 9-3 with 180k kms. In the year I had it, the throttle body failed (twice) and had to be replaced. Radio module failed. Electric window failed. Parasitic battery drain. Water leak. Seatbelt sensor failed causing chime to sound non-stop. At less than 220 the transmission failed and I junked it. Junk yard for a junky car
