2011 GM Truck 2500HD ABS Module Replacement To Correct Network Issues

This 2500 GMC was brought in last week for an intermittent no crank condition and multiple warning messages on the dash. I diagnosed a Can Bus problem in a previous video here: https://youtu.be/ll0RIj0QTek
This video shows the ABS module replacement and rescan. I was having issues with my internet connections so had to use my cell phone as a mobile hot spot to do the flash programming through GM SPS.

When you program ebcm with the mdi2 do you have to select if it has a ITBC (trailer brake controller)or will it automatically recognize it as having the ITBC.? Just asking as I have a issue with no com to ITBC. I had coms to it before installing a new ebcm due to a internal short to ground from hi speed wakeup circuit LT blu wire through module. It was programmed at dealer but now a no com to ITBC also itbc was programmed before ebcm and is new as well. I checked hi speed wires and load tested them with modules disconnected on the legs of circuit going from ebcm to itbc and itbc to resistor. Ohm tested them as well for grins and all good resistor tested out where it should be. Checked LT blue wire as well since when I had coms it had a u2099 code in itbc and the wires tested good after removing ebcm (this is what necessitated replacing ebcm. I have a u0137-00 in bcm no com to itbc/trailer brake controller. Kinda pulling my hair out on this one could use some pointers/confirmation of my first question as this ebcm might be bad. Going to try a bypass test tomorrow to bypass ebcm to see if I get coms back or not

Wish I could do mine but I don't have a fancy thing to plug in

When you had thos failure even after the new module was installed but before programming, could you communicate with the ebcm? I've got one that won't communicate, but won't program either using an autel maxiflash to program. Gives me a no crank but a few flips of the ignition and it will usually start and run just abs and service trailer brake messages with no comm with the ebcm.
