Well done robert :-))
Bloody hell, that was a nusance, i would have expected them to have used
sliding clips all along but a couple of screws at the front edge to stop
that non load bearing fancy panal from falling off.
I hope that person in the blue/black stripy tracksuit and frizzy hair and a
white T shirt appreciated you, i would not have noticed that person if he
had not over reacted to a reflection lol.

Didn’t you just replace this thing not long ago?

its funny in the early 80’s 81 82 my mom wanted a mini van with a door on
the drivers side like in this video and the sales man when he found out
what she wanted he freaked out on her( yes I was right by her side at the
time) about how if they made van like this that many children would be
killed each year when they opened the door into traffic (parked on a side
street ect) and FLEW OUT the van like children do they would be ran over
and killed and that’s why they would never make vans with rear drivers
side door…

its funny how common they are now but I always think of this when I see the
vans like this nowadays….

I also wonder on the stats but have never looked them up….

Awesome job Robert! This was just the video I needed because the factory
manual for my 1996 Ford Windstar was lacking. However, it took me awhile to
find it. I would recommend changing the title to add at least Ford/Mercury
van Sliding door repair and then move a lot of the current title to tags.
Like VOTD does really need to be in the title, it would be better served as
a tag? Again, awesome video and it gave me just what I needed, which was
how to remove that outside panel. Thanks again Robert and I have subscribed
to your channel.
