I love listening to my 2uz-fe start in the morning, every morning.
Replacing that is not super major anymore. They have created a block to hold the cam-chain so they can change these with just the valve cover off.
Oil is cheap. Engines are expensive.
The scariest thing about the car world is that it’s a debate whether it’s ok to go 10k miles between oil changes.
Makes me glad I have an LS430 with a timing belt.

The worst noise an ecoboost makes is when someone puts an aftermarket exhaust on it.
I’ve done mine twice and it has just over 100k. Both of the repairs were under warranty, the shop told me they put the new updated better cam phasers…bla bla bla
I thought all the newer fords were supposed to make this sound (it's normal)?
