Mike V says:

How did you bond the panel to the outer wheel arch?

Benjie Lagrimas says:

that's bullshit. .keep in training. . f I'm the painter I'm not gonna accept that fucking work so ugly. . .

Benjie Lagrimas says:

no that's not a standard work dammit. . maybe replace both body side panel. . .a lot of body filler. that's not so easy to apply filler. .

fuqoff aye? says:

That Eddie VanHalen crap has got to go. I died and woke up in a cultural vacuum. Ive seen better patch jobs. Thats gonna take a shitload of bondo to fix. Should have put the repair metal underneath instead of overlap.

bob arvello says:

Your not scared to weld next to the gas fill cap? Are there any preventive measures you take when welding next to the gas fill cap?

CallmeRogerRoger says:

I'm watching thinking, "He's NOT going to overlay that is he?"

Ghostwing says:

Holy cow I'd just get a new bed

tracycolorado says:

dig the time lapse , good job , I ve seen shops where they put Duraglas body filler over welds , then bondo . this stops any vibration of body panel from cracking bondo and paint

Rick Ryatt says:

Folks, this a good lesson in NOT how to do body work! Wow, I can't believe you went right over the old metal!

Bruce L. says:

Just go to a place that installs service bodies. They sell boxes for about a grand around here.

Andrew Stevens says:

How much does a repair like that cost? I've got a 03 powerstroke that needs this repair very bad and I'm gonna have it fixed soon and I'd like and idea of what these repairs run.

andrew cayer says:

Next time trim up patch panel. Easier to Bondo. Trim to circle shape. Keep repair as small as possible

Dennis Kaskovich says:

Amesie, I need to do this on my 1992 Bronco. Looking to find a local guy here in California to do it – What do think this would cost for two fenders?

Cuts rose scents says:

No this is not car show trophy winning bodywork. But if a guy can keep a shitbox passing inspection until major catastrophic mechanical disintegration.Because the cost of replacement of parts well past wear limits the manufacturers & engineers thought conceivable. And its still operable. Then this is great bodywork for the price.

Mark Schuster says:

Question do you think it would lay more flush if I cut out the size of the whole panel?

Mark Schuster says:

I'm about to replace both of mine. Looks like you got a bigger flair. I'm glad I got a long box I don't like how close you are to the fuel tank

Wad9591 says:

Hi Amesie.I just bought a 2002 Ford F150XLT extended cab . I'm going to make one good truck out of the two. Those panels are going to make that part of the job fairly easy for me and it will also be my first stab at this type of work. I have a question. Right in front of the rear bumper and below the tail light, the bottom corner is rusted out (a pretty good hole) A guy mentioned that you can get pre-molded metal pieces that once you cut away the rust, you can slap these on like the panels in the video. Amesie, what are they called exactly? Lastly, where are you located? If you're not too far away, maybe I just bring you the work. Thanks.
