Hi what size tiers and wheels is on this truck

Cmikul25g says:

Couldn't you have just undid the pivot bolts at the lover control arm and let the assembly swing down. and pull the shock. I'm pretty sure that would prevent undoing all the upper and disc. Less disassembly

michael deblaw says:

IMPACT WRENCHES ARE NOT FOR INSTALLING! Mechanics like this chap my hide. Those nuts have TORQUE values to insure they stay on AND don't fatigue and crack the bolts. STOP using impact wrenches on assembly you lazy jerks.

Crazy question I recently had a shop install a 2” leveling kit but how do I know if the space was a true 2”? Rear of truck is measuring 40” and now the front is measuring 38.5” is that good?

Ramolifee says:

Does adding a leveling kit void the factory warranty? Do you need to readjust the headlights or anything?

Scott Barteck says:

I have seen some vidoes where they pull a vacuum on the 4 wheel drive when the pull the hub off . Is that necessary on a 2017 F150?

GoJoe Productions says:

Do you think someone with no mechanic experience could do this? Im wanting to try it myself s o I can save money but I am nervous.

The _ Tennesseean says:

Great video! I’ve seen a few different ways now and that guy put that leveled strut in prettyyyyyy easy lol. I’ve seen people put the lower strut in a vise and turn it instead of hammering them out.

FlyingDutchmanWA says:

Thanks, great video! You've convinced me I'd rather pay the shop mechanic 2 hours of labor time than to do this myself on a whole Saturday! LOL (my Saturday is worth more to me than 2 hours of labor of the pro mechanic)

dmncnito says:

Am I the only one that thought you don't have to remove the whole shock absorver? was clear to me to put the kit once the top was out. I say…

Joey Zuvich says:

Can you just the the factory nuts on the top of the strunt?

justin jackson says:

Looked this up to see if I could do it. I could but I’m not gonna lol. Gonna get someone to do it.

TheJoMo360 says:

Haha that’s great that’s what I did after I striped the end of the sway link

Mitch_L says:

Loosen the upper control arm bolts, makes reassembling easier and it should be tightened at the new ride height, as well as the lower control arm bolts.

roy nichols says:

could you not use a spring compressor?

Alcides Martinez says:

Great video.
